Breakfast drives are a good way to start off your mornings and if the weather god bless you with lots of cloud cover, it's just the cherry on the top. After missing out for the NagarjunSagar drive that happened last month, the itch to drive and catch up with BHPians was relentless and so the plan was a quick impromptu one with most of it being finalized by Saturday evening and being posted on this thread.
We had 4 confirmed participants with couple of them tentative and couldn't make it due to personal commitments. But as they say, even 2 folks meeting is a meet and so the 4 of us went ahead with the drive.
Snipejus (Tejus) was the first to arrive at the meetup point followed by self (manas_270 aka Giri).
Chatting with Tejus on his new ride and his experiences, noticed the mean machine F10 525d driven by the man abhiram7912 (Abhinav) pulling up. He remapped the engine, wrapped the logo, spoiler and what not to leave no trace of chrome showing up. He is our DIY wrap consultant now and few of us have some plans of doing a DIY wrap with his help.
A4anurag (Anurag) shows up in his Creta within a few minutes of Abhinav's arrival and we set off for the breakfast point on the Bangalore highway. The initial stretch had some traffic and post that, everyone had a chance to stretch their legs and engines of their rides. Tejus was taking it a bit slow since he was getting used to his new ride and moving from 1st gen Figo to the Grand i10, the Hyundai steering was something he was getting accustomed to.
The kind of tarmac and weather we experienced
Reached the breakfast point which was about a 35min drive from the meetup spot and me, Anurag and Abhinav were able to find parking spots right next to each other. Tejus missed out on an adjacent spot by a minute and so had to be content with parking on the other side of the table. Yup, our seating table is surrounded by our rides and that’s something we loved at this restaurant. You get to appreciate the food and the rides simultaneously
The rides (L-R): Anurag's remapped Creta, Abhinav's remapped F10 525d, Giri's (yet to be remapped) Punto 90HP. Tejus Grand i10 parked opposite end of the Punto and hidden in the pic
The breakfast was good with all of us having Vada and couple of us having dosa's. Not much variety on offer for breakfast but whatever was available seemed good. We didn’t crib much since we were all engrossed in serious conversation and as a result completely forgot to click pic of ourselves, or the food or anything.
Headed back after the breakfast and made a pitstop on the service lane to chat a bit more since we didn't want to end up occupying the parking lot without ordering any more food and thereby get weird looks from the restaurant manager.
The steeds parked in the service lane and the only pic with all the 4 rides.
Got to make sure the next meets will include clicking quite a lot of pics since a pic can speak a thousand words that can't be explained in the report.
Overall a good start to a Sunday!

Ah, good to see water in these rivers on this stretch. Don't remember the last time I saw this much water in these rivers on this stretch. Thanks Bajaj sir for the pic.
