WHY: To recreate the magic of an overnighter, of FIVE bygone years
THE stepping stone of a drive that left no drive unturned, as yet ;),
FOR those who Live to Drive and have Got BHP:

When: 21/22 Jul ’18
What: A rain challenge twisty drive to Ooty and back.
Where: Blr - NH 209 - descend 27 U-bend Dimbum to Sathy -Mettupalayam-Karamadi - ascend 43 U-bend Manjur – Lovedale - Ooty *(overnight)- descend 36 U-bend Sijur –Masinagudi- Mysore and back via NH209

Accommodation: 15 rooms blocked till 3rd July,'18. Thereafter, subject to availability.

Tariff: estimated Rs. 6,750/- average per person per night on twin-sharing basis,
Plan: bed, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner.

6.30 -7.00 am: “Hi” opp Art of Living entrance NH209
7.00 am: depart
9.30-10.30 am refreshment break @ Nijaguna Residency, Chamarajanagar;
1-2 pm lunch @ Oasis Family Mettupalayam;
4-4.30 pm tea break @ Chamaraj Tea Estate (“…chamaraj tea center. This is the highest tea estate in India, they have displayed the Limca book of records for this feat”);
5.30 pm arr Taj Savoy.

22 July:

1.00-2.00 pm: Lunch @ Fern Hill Palace
2.00 pm: depart
4-4.30 pm: tea break @ CCD Gundulpet;

Wow. This will be amazing. I vividly remember that first drive 5 years ago. That is still one of the best drives ever!

Eagerly looking forward to this.
