I have never been to Arthungal before though I am from this place. But I will help any one on the direction from my little knowledge about this place. As far as I know you can turn from Shertallai ( Cherthala) signal to reach Arthungal. ( nearly 10 kms ). If anyone wants to know anything more, please msg me in my new number.

Here is wishing all the Kochi Team Bhpians a very happy drive. I wished to be amongst this team but some other commitment forced me to miss it but was still trying to be part of this drive, perhaps the first of this magnitude, but a sudden bereavement in the family further pulled down shutters.

This was one of the best outings that I have had in recent times.

Everything including the convoy drive, the rain, the resort, the celebration, the beach, the photoshoot in front of the church was super fun.

And I found a new best friend - Dhanush's son. I just loved him, and I am sure everyone else would agree with me.

One Liner - The best meet till date!!!

Here's the complete picture.

As always, I kept everyone waiting in the heavy rain. Arrived around 20 min late. Saw Prashob(figo_mba) and Deepak (Deetjohn) at Vytilla and went to Maradu to join Abhijith(mistakenguy) who skipped his breakfast so that he could catch me on the way. Really sorry for that!
Moved ahead and went straight to BOT bridge where others were waiting for us. After a quick 'HI' we started our drive to Arthunkal beach. Rajoy and his wife joined midway. After some 30-45min we reached Arthunkal beach. Anoop(voyageur), Jacob(jacs) and family, Arun(revintup) and wife joined us from there.
We had a small photo shoot of our rides here, 13 cars in total of which one came directly to the resort.

After the photo shoot, we drove straight to the resort. Parked our rides and went to the banquet hall for one huge surprise. It was Vaisakh's B'day, so we had arranged a cake for him. The expression on his face was priceless (and also after cutting the cake - think dhanush or romy captured that pic?)

After that went to have lunch. Poor Rajoy was begging us to start with the lunch. Met mallu mowgli (Praveen) and his wife near the reception. Joined them and had lunch. Quick bite and chat later, all were eager to head to the beach. Went straight to the beach. Abhi, who had decided not to take bath yesterday was the first person to jump along with Prashob. Since few guys had to push off we decided to take a group snap. Here's one that I took (Obviously, I will be missing in this)

Abhi and Prashob then dragged me to the water. Then Dhanush joined us and spent some 30-45 mins in water. When it was getting late, we decided to get ready to drive back home. Took a quick shower and got ready to depart. Finally, met everyone and started deciding the next meet. After a while, we decided to push off from the resort.

A special thanks to many non BHPians who joined us for the meet (Amal's Mom, bro's, Abhi, Sree's Bro and Roxy ) and also Anoop who took the local transport to reach the resort.

BTW, next meet will be a weekend drive with stay after monsoons.
