Well, 8 days are for a quickie, very hectic under ideal conditions, means no hold-up on serious repairs, any unexpected etc.

3+3 days for non-stoop to and fro, (if to visit Ajanta-Elora, one more day).
Means just two days to see anything in Uk.
Actually in UK everything is a sight for us from Erna 'Kulam', those living in the 'below Sea-level' marshes.

Frankly, my expectations is those '8 days strict' fellows will push me for overstay, once they land up view those mesmerizing landscapes...

hey, nice to see that its an active thread. but,what happened to those "oldies', speedzak, ashivin and all?? some are seen 'banned'.
i do spot ashvin sometimes at ekm - since he is not to be missed in a crowd.

I was just planning to have a meet during onam since our lost friend is back in action for a couple of days. Vaisakh will be here on 8th,10th and 11th of Sept.

Kindly let me know the best day to have a meet so that I can convey the date to him.

Can we think/plan on some sort of activity other than just a 'Hello-Meet' ? Means some sort of 'Action-plan' preferably related to our very cause of association:Tbhp.

Well, each one can think and present his own idea... let us see some worthy idea come out.

I found, such groups, if no common cause of action, the enthusiasm die-down fast. There must be something to do, aim, work for: to make it a pursuit of the aim to meet frequent and more members attracted. Also time is not wasted, but worthy. Also attend little more punctual. If nothing to do, ppl will be absent for more worthwhile matters.

Venue: Why cant we meet the other hotel opposite Oberon, little inside, with a gateway? Sorry I dont remember the name.
Will be out of the din...

As for the venue, I guess you are talking about Hotel Highway Garden (Guess they have changed the name now - not sure). Let's first decide the date so that Vaisakh can join us too. Preferably 8th,10th or 11th.

8th is Onam-eve, won't the famous "Uthradapachil" (frenzied Onam preparations...) get in the way?

And 10th, ppl may not be out of hangover of Onam ?
