They are gonna like you anyway Speed.Demon. They are quite friendly. I am only afraid whether they will become too friendly.

Overnight stay at Kuttikkanam sounds fine. We can do a circuitous route in that case. Can drive through Muvattupuzha- Thodupuzha- Wagamon- Kuttikkanam.
Return via Kanjirappally- Pala- Ettumanur. On both routes, roads are in good condition.

On parallel thoughts, return can also be planned through Kumily-Ramakkal medu- Adimali- Kothamangalam. The trip will be a bit too long in that case.

But will overnight stay work? We need to book the rooms early right? Most of the entries will be confirmed at the last moment. So guess it's best to go for a one day drive. Any thoughts?

As for the place, Vagamon looks like the preferred place.

As of now I guess everyone prefers a day drive. Maybe, we can start by 7 in the morning and return by 6-7 in the evening. If it's a one day drive, we need to finalize whether it's june 1st or 2nd? and also the venue. Vagamon seems the preferred place. So if this is fine, kindly mention the preferred date and the venue

OT - I guess you had come to Cochin couple of weeks back. I spotted your car and posted the details in the sticker spotting thread. Your car is really familiar since I have seen in Blore tbhp meet.

When I went to Wagamon, we stayed at a place called something like "Asha Sadan, Eco Nest" or something like that. They have individual cottages and also single/ double rooms. The tariff was some Rs 1250/- per cottage for the night. It is located very close to the kurishumala.
There is no A/c or fan in the cottage as it was adequately naturally ventillated, and at Wagamon, we did not require A/c also then.

On parallel lines of thought, mistakenguy was mentioning something about sizing up a deal with a resort in kuttikkanam or something.

In case of a single day drive also, I am in for Jun 1st or 2nd. vaishakhr, you can add confirm in brackets next to my name too

At this point, I feel like a vagabond shuffling between Chennai, Bangalore and Ernakulam. Vagamon is tempting and I am palpitating like how a dog would after looking at a large piece of bone! June will be too hectic a month for me, so count me in as a partner in spirit! I will definitely attend the next meet before I fly off to Germany in September. Will be missing you all!
