Fakes are avilable a dime a dozen. The choice is yours. And yes you can carry in caps T shirts, cigars, ciggies, cameras, tripods, mobiles etc. No food and beer/alcohol/water only. Cheers

Fake merchandise is available at Sungei Wang Plaza, Pudu and at every Pasar Malam (night market) that occurs on different days of the week at diff locations. Sunday's pasar malam is at Bangsar and you can get fakes of everything there, except fake parents and children. Since we will probably arrive on Thursday, the Pasar Malam is at Brickfields - not much of F1 merchandise there. And dont worry - there is plenty of fake merchandise available from illegal vendors around the circuit, usually parked outside the parking areas. You dont have much choice by way of beer - its Fosters or bust. Last edited by Steeroid : 10th January 2007 at 12:59.

| ![]() @SKS.... why don't you join us there?? Regarding the stands, I will be comfortable anywhere. We just have to be in one pack watching the race. That's all. And I'm glad it's going to be that way. ![]() |

| ![]() Guys A friend of mine confirmed to me today that Indians now get Visa-On-Arrival for a fee of RM100 in Malaysia. So visas are NOT an issue. |

| ![]() That is true, you do get VISA on arrival. But not for flights from Chennai. Thats because there were cases where a lot of people coming from Chennai overstayed. |

| ![]() Nice to see that one more Bhpian is coming. How're you booking your flight tickets? You can just tell them to arrange visas too. The cheapest air tickets to Malaysia is ex Chennai. Sad to hear about the visa not being issued to passengers arriving from Chennai. Could somebody confirm about this? I'd like to make my booking from Chennai. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Actually I do not think i would want to take a chance with my VOA. Today it is chennai, tomorrow it may be all of India. I'm gonna apply from the malaysian consulate in india, get a tourist visa before i leave Mumbai, citing the EXACT reason I am going (To see the Sepang F1 race) and get a visa before I go. Don't want any rude surprises in KL. (Remember the money is not refundable lol) |
