Since it's my first meet, had a query. Is it singles meet or with family?

I feel sorry for myself. I can't make myself available for the meet from 800 Km away, on the other coast. I even checked flight fares and ruled it out. Damn!

A short report... (photos collected from various members)

Phase 1
The Mangalore-Udupi chapter of TeamBHP experienced its largest meet ever, with 16 people in attendance. We all met at Red Rock Bakery & Cafe. This was merely our rendezvous point.

Starting from Left to Right: dockap, cogwheel, Dr.Naren, carfreak, Blackbandit +1, manipal, james, shasas, DeepBlue, Sudhirban, SunnyBoi, ferrariwell, samaspire, a_bharadwaj & Samurai.



Guess whom I met after 12 years, my former Baleno.



Phase 2
Once all were here, we took off to the beach. There was a slight confusion about the correct road, since the guide (dockap) got confused and sent them all into the wrong turn, before checking the google map. Eventually, we all got into the right road, but just before we could reach the venue, we found the road closed. So we turned back and found another place to park and get into the beach.

Phase 3
After that we moved ahead for a river view, from the bridge.

















Phase 4

We moved on to Red Rock Residency for Dinner. We were done by 9pm, and then we moved out and stood around in the parking lot another hour chatting about cars nonstop.

I finally got to drive my former Baleno, because James wanted me to drive it to see the difference. Very impressed with what he has done with it.

After that we called it a day. It was great to meet so many new faces, and talk cars for few hours, across 4 different locations.
