That happens to me every time I return to Udupi, which means once every month. For those who don't know, Manipal is a locality within Udupi. The Udupi DC office and Udupi RTO are located in Manipal locality.

Since the owner, Sachin - bhpain "Sashas" is not answering, I will.

Sachin is a 4x4 guru and he takes care of all his cars himself. The HT on his Thar is a customised unit that he built recently. It's made from 16 gauge metal with a tubular frame and a customised roof liner. Looks great and very OEM in person. He is currently involved in building a track for an off-road event and this Thar is doing all the test runs.

Oh just came across this thread whilst browsing the TBHP meets section - I really miss the sea and the coast. Beautiful pics and you guys sure had fun from the looks of it.

The last time I visited Mangalore and Udupi was in 2012 mainly for a religious ceremony & temple tours. My wife and I also checked the site of an ancient home on the banks of the Shambhavi river. Mangalore is such a lovely city. Just loved it and Karwar too. My favorite vacation is Dharwad (in-laws live there), south to Karwar and then turn north to Goa. Makes me wanna jump in the car and drive off right away.
