Is that the road after Fiat Caffe or the one after Chowki Dhani. Count me in the tentative list, but isnt 7PM a little late for photoshoot?

Hey buddy,

This is the lane next to Mast Kalandar/Hero Honda Showroom, after Choki Dhani. It is the route most people take to enter the side entrance of EGL.

And 7pm is perfect for a photo-shoot, as the street lamps will give a nice color to it

Will PM you my number, we can co-ordinate.

Ok got it, but there isnt any parking space there we will have to take the left gully after you enter that road. I used work at EGL earlier not anymore, however, on Wednesday's I usually have some work over there so thats why I have put as tentative.

Is it ok if I come on my bike because I would be coming from Vijayanagar and by car would take lot of time in this traffic. I would love to be part of this meet, as it will be my first meet with the Bhpians and I am eagerly waiting from long time.

Further to the discussion on the Dirt Mania visit, here is the complete plan of the 'quick' meet.

When: 27th September, Saturday
How far is the venue? : Approximately 14 km from the NICE intersection at NH 209, just past the AOL Ashram and APS college.

7.00 AM - Meet up at NICE road - Kanakapura road (NH 209) intersection, right outside the Sericulture board.

7.30 AM - leave from rendezvous point and hit Vaishnavi palace (south Indian fare) or Cafe Coffee day for breakfast. Both of these are en route and near the AOL Ashram.

8.30 AM - reach Dirt Mania for their ATV/Quad bike activities (participation is voluntary and members are free to choose whatever they want)

The activities might take up to 2-3 hours if some members decide to go for repeat rounds. By around 12 we should be done and proceed to return homewards. There is no plan for lunch as of now; I am assuming we might finish much earlier than lunchtime.

They have 200cc, 330cc, 500cc and 800cc quadbikes and members are free to choose whatever they want. Pricing obviously differs across categories. They have 7km trails and 12km trails to choose from - the trails encompass forest routes amidst greenery and the reviews I have seen so far sound very promising. They also have a track for high-adrenaline action laps. Take your pick once we are at the venue. The 7km trail lasts approximately 50-60 minutes and the 12 km trail takes around 1.5-2 hours to complete.

Here are the costs in rupees as per the website

200cc :
7 km trail : 1500 per head
12 km trail : 2000 per head
2 on track laps : 400

330cc:
7 km trail : 2000 per head
12 km trail : 2500 per head
2 on track laps : 600

500cc:
7 km trail : 2500 per head
12 km trail : 3000 per head
2 on track laps : 800

800cc: (this is a 2 seater so the costs can be split)
7 km trail : 3500
12 km trail : 4000
2 on track laps : 1200

Other information:

- Safety riding gear will be provided by Dirt Mania crew. However, if you want to bring your own riding gear or helmet, that is also fine.
- Crew will be there to assist the members on the trail, attend to issues, etc.
- There are basic refreshments available at the place such as water and cold beverages. There is no food available.
- The approach road is motorable all the way till the place. Low cars and sedans should not have an issue.

No I don't live there but I used to work in EGL for 3 years so you might have seen the white Manza through those by-lanes to avoid the main road traffic Do you have a red polo? I saw one sticker'd polo once but did not find time to take a pick.

Guys, do make sure the opening time of this CCD. I have seen this close during my morning drive through Kanakupra road.
