A Team-BHP Europe meet?

Not in Benelux, but in neighbouring France! I will try and keep tabs on this thread, hopefully, will make it to one of the future meets.

We will be hosting our first meet on Mar 10th near Belgium border, at Zundert. Exact location will be updated closer to the date.

Four of us managed to meet-up as per the plan we made. A couple of the others that were planning to join had to back out for various reasons.

Weather-wise it was a terrible day, haha. But, this didn't dampen our spirits at all. On my way to the meet-up location, there was a point where the rain and wind was so heavy on the highway, that I just couldn't see anything in front of me, despite the wipers working at their maximum speed.

We all reached safely however, and I was the first to arrive at the location, but was 20 minutes early.

Stratos arrived about 10 minutes after me in his Toyota C-HR, and we immediately started a conversation about our cars in the parking lot. A couple of minutes later, we saw Jeroen pulling into the parking lot in his beautiful Jaguar XJR. Not very long after, kraft.wagen pulled into the parking lot in his BMW 116d.

It was a very enjoyable 2.5 hours spent together. We ended up having lunch together along with our drinks. Besides the introductions, the discussions were on topics ranging from traffic rules and car safety, to aviation events and photography, and even land acquisition, haha.

Time flew by before we knew it, and since we all had other things to take care of, we had to leave, but not without taking one photo together. We didn't manage to take any pictures of our cars, but that is mainly due to the weather.

The drive back was even more difficult, as the wind had picked up to around 60 kmph!

This meant two hands on the steering wheel at all times, and constant corrections to the steering, as the wind kept on blowing the car off the road.

Wondering how I missed this one! Though I stay about 160km away from the venue, I could still have made it - had I seen this thread before!

Ah! I missed this one, blame it on my erratic/ad-hoc travel schedule

especially when on a short business travel.

Next time round, I hope to meet you guys for sure!

Indeed, it was good to meet the guys. Unfortunately due to terrible weather and all of us leaving at different time we didn't get to take pictures.
