This is an old trick I learned on Windows 3.1 systems, hasn't changed even till now!!

Refer https://www.rapidtables.com/code/text/ascii-table.html, and see the extended ASCII character set. The half in fraction form is ASCII character 171.

Two things to note here. Firstly, you must use a keyboard that has a "numeric" keypad. Secondly, all text editors and the textbox/textarea controls support the entry and display of characters in the extended ASCII character set. The big box in which I am typing this is a textarea control.

So to type a character from the extended ASCII character set, hold down ALT, quickly type the decimal character number on the numeric keypad (so for half, you hold down ALT and type 171 on the numeric keypad) and release ALT.

Voila!

Hey that's a cool video, nice promo actually for freestyle. Mr. Rally driver is sometimes missing this is not a uni-directional race track, there could be oncoming traffic. So challenging is perhaps the Kolli. But Gaurav Gill's driving appears more deadly than the mountain of death.

This was a promo event and for sure roads would have been closed for regular traffic.

Participants must understand and accept that:

1. there are risks involved in participating in this type of Event and they are prepared for any eventuality.

2. it is a drive on Indian roads and can therefore be dangerous.

3. each is individually responsible for everything he/she does and the Organiser/s & Team BHP accept NO responsibility whatsoever.

4. they must not compete at any level with each other or other road users.

5. they must drive with care and attention for their own safety and the safety of others at all times.

6. it is the sole responsibility of each, to ensure that their documents (DL, RC, LTT, PUCC, IC) are in order and carried in original.

7. the documents must be valid from the beginning, up to and including, the last day of the Drive.

8. it is one's own call to ensure the suitability of the season and their respective rides. Gear and accessories must supplement
individual comfort zones and the wherewithal to take on challenging drive conditions like bad roads, inclement weather,
breakdowns, detours, etc.

9. they shall carry their own first aid kit, personal medication, snacks and water as expedient.

10. all arrangements are made on best effort basis.

11. participation charges once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

12. by participating, you unconditionally confirm being on the same page in terms of this Memorandum.

Hi Ravi. Thanks for responding. Unfortunately my participation is looking very unlikely as my wife is not well and suffering from fever. At best I will be able to do a drive till the breakfast point and even that may only be decided on Friday night. Provisionally I will say no to the trip but am hoping to get in on another of your organized drives soon.
