Can guys on an Aprilia SR150 attend? :D
Wow I wish I was there - Kodi Bengre is a wonderful place. My native place is very close to Kodi Bengre - and believe me guys - the pics don't do justice at all to this place. You'll can also explore the islands of Kemannu by boat which are connected by Hanging Bridges.

Thank you for the recommendation :thumbs up
Is there any beach left in Kodi Bengre? Early this year, this is
what we found at Kodi bengre.

Rock armour to prevent erosion.
The delta point pic. posted (river side) was taken at 6.30 pm on 19 Nov.,'16 atop that armour.
This is the sea side pic. taken at the same time
At high tide the beach is submerged :)
It pays to recce
Cheers

The beach that is under high tide stays quite soggy even during low tide, it is not a place to play beach games. It won't have the dry powdery feel of the beach that is above high tide. However, getting into the water is the only intention, then it is alright. I don't wet my feet 4 out of 5 times in my beach visits, so Kodi Bengre is out for me permanently. :Frustrati

Not a bad choice at all considering this is how it was when we visited in March:

Depending on the number of vehicles you may only need to choose the right parking slot little away from this location to easily return back.
Have a good one!
I'm from Manipal, so I'd opt out of accommodation. I'd certainly join you guys preferably over meet and greet and dine. Kodi Bengre is my weekly go to place. Primarily for seafood.

As I have to come from Coimbatore, I have two options:
1. Drive the previous day to Bangalore and stay overnight and join at the start line.
2. Drive through Mysore and reach the resort directly.
Will decide based on road conditions.
Count me in. Rather excited as this would be my first ever real interaction with fellow Bhpians.
