Ahhhh. That brings up a new point. On Sunday, when do we leave for the special stages? We'll have a 2 to 2 and a half hour drive from Ernakulam, right?

Once the rally cars reach near the Special stage area, the whole route will be closed for entry due to safety reasons. (Remember people getting knocked etc...)!!

So if somebody is interested in watching special stages, then my suggestion is to go early to Thundam. There one will be able to watch both the SS. And expect some footwork to be done. There is some 5 kms stretch were cars are not allowed and your very own foot will have to be put to work for some good view of actions. And that is exactly where the spirit of rallying comes to play!!!
I am going on the 11th to watch SS. And 10th?? I will only be sure by tomorrow.

The Venue for the saturday meet will be announced by tonight. As Rudra Sir will be in Taj Malabar that evening, my vote goes in their!!
Any suggestions regarding this?? Please do post here before 12am!!

Guys!! Sorry for not confirming the Venue earlier. Had to wait for Mr. Rudy's final plans.

Tomorrow (10th Mar, 2007)!! After all the Rally dust settles for a break, we all meet up and have some quality good time with one of the great Moderators in this forum. What say??? Yeah!!! That's what we doing guys!
We will get together at Taj Malabar by 8:30pm. We all sit around the table near the waterfront. We will be able to hear a lot from the OLD MAN and I am sure it will be worth recording in our diaries. We can all have a buffet dinner and then split late into the night.
If Mosquitoes are afraid of us, then we will have it out in the open sky too.

It will cost in the region of 300 per person, please carry this with you.
You can go directly to the reception at Malabar and ask where the Team-BHPians are. You will be guided to the table/area we all have planned for.
Please make arrangements for your own Booze/beer/whatsoever.

If anybody needs to be picked up/dropped back/know the route/know any further details, please call/sms me. If somebody doesn't have my number, please PM me your number. I will call you back.

I will post the final head count tomorrow morning.

Just back from the meet. It was a very good one.

I left Rally office with 2l8uloose and reached Taj Malabar by 9.00pm. Hydra, Nikkibike and Icemanz were there already. We had a table booked at Dolphin's point next to the backwaters. They were already there waiting for us.

We all sat down and were waiting for Mr. Rudy. After some time, AHA!, Car_god_666 and AhMad reached. Then after we started feeding our stomachs, Shibujp arrived and after some time Jerish666 & his wife came. Later Kphilip came with his friend.
A nice turn out it was.

A very hearty thank you to all. Especially Mr. 2l8uloose who came in spite of all the work load he had at the rally office.

We couldn't get to meet Mr. Rudy due to the long meeting he was in. We missed you Rudy.

Thanks to all the tbhpian who made it to Cochin meet n special thanks to Zak for organizing the same.

We all had a wonderful time @ Taj Malabar dining by the creek side.

we missed Rudraji, however 2l8uloose and jerrish added to the glory of the evening.

while Hydra and nikkibike tried to keep the mosquitoes away, all munched on relishing kebabs n sea food. Offcourse, not to forget Zak's cute lil kids kept all of us occupied.

It was nice meet. It was good to meet 2l8uloose. And I met Shibujp, Car_god_666 & AhMad for the first time. Apparently car_god_666 & I stay very nearby (3 minutes drive).

We missed Rudraji :(

Loads of pics were taken by 3-4 camera-toting members. Do post them soon.

Its Duferin's Point, not Dolphin's. I'm glad I didnt fly down for the meet - that would've been a very expensive way to NOT meet Mr.Sen.
