Both cars are now out of production and the world has moved on.
Let's talk about 60s' Mustangs and Chargers instead.... way more interesting!

So ideally how can the latter pull away from the former if it were pulling gear to gear??

Please guys,If there is something else I am unaware of please enlighten me.
I did't want to rage a war here though.

Let's not get into battles. Though Shrey, it would help if you did some reading up on Honda's variable valve timing system, as it's not a miracle that you make it out to be when you say " ..former having a VTEC." It was developed initially to compromise between low RPM and high RPM engine performance, to increase overall engine VE. Also, to increase power alongwith fuel efficiency as I think Japan had some sort of tax on engine capacity. Oh well, we'll close the thread now, since it always ends up like this. We will only open it for the videos now, if ever.
