GUys the next time we plan to drive up Nandi hills, or any hill for that matter, lets stagger the start by 2-3 mins so that each driver has space with no one holding up another driver and later commenting that i wasnt given enough space!! But i agree the most fun is when you over take another car at a curve or a straight!!

Four and a half minutes for 7 kms of narrow and at times broken hill roads open to the regular public sounds implausible and insane.

You are welcome to take chances with your lives, but not those of the general public.

And if the Car behind you is fast enough then just let them go, not block them like we do it on a Video Game!!

I agree. Even granting that these guys have very capable vehicles, an *average* speed of 93 kmph on that stretch is an incredible feat.

To answer kpzen's question. I watched tadukuttan's video several times, and my assessment is as follows. I hate to disappoint the Santro fan club, but I would be comfortable with a top speed of about 70 kmph in that stretch. At 80 kmph, I would honk just as furiously (nervously?) as tadukuttan did at 120 kmph. I could do a *top* speed of 90+ in that stretch if someone put a gun to my head, but not otherwise. An *average* speed of 90+ on that road seems beyond my comprehension

I'm sure everyone out there drove quick, but safe, or as safe as the road conditions would allow. Lets end this particular matter here please. No one's a saint on this forum so lets not kid ourselves.

Have you heard of the term exaggeration ? people can sometimes get carried away while timing themselves. There is of course no official timers here. The bottom line is you guys had a lot of fun with a little risk involved all the time.
cheers

To explain what happened...
JLo had stopped to the side while coming down Nandi Hills and was checking something on his car... The truck Driver went back to check if all was fine with the Baleno and on his return told us that Rahuls nuts were loose... that comment at that particular moment was really Hilarious...

Other such comments that we heard were...
v1p3r to JLo : Your third is shorter than Mine... (or was it the other way round ? )
Mcl : My car has a Speedo

Was an Awesome meet, Thanks to Blue boy for taking the initiative and JLo for organizing it...

Still waiting for Tadu to give me his part of the footage, so that I can print my ticket to the Oscars.
