Hey, I am sure most of us would not want to miss a few days in Goa. Ofcourse KF, beach, go-karting, driving etc being additional bonuses. But then, mundane stuff like work and family commitments come in the way for most of us oldies.

I would say, you make the most of it now because once you leave behind student life, these pleasures would be hard to come by.

Ofcourse, where there is a will, there will be a way, as Steeroid, Khaadu et. al. prove time and again. I salute your enthusiasm.

Any guys from Chennai planning to go for the Goa meet ? Nitrous ?

KNOCK KNOCK

Is this thing going to happen? By the same time last year we had the list of "participants" and accomodation details worked out.

I guess nobody's interested, then?

I wish we could play music for each thread on the forum. I'd like to play one of my favourite bands here - AC DC

Who all need it - who?
Who all need it - you!
Who all need it, who all need it
(yes you do)
You all breathe it, we all need it
Are you ready for a good time?

ARE YOU READY?????

Going by the prevalent mood, maybe we could have the National Socialist anthem. Some nice Wagner, maybe.

I suggest the mods lock this thread until Mcl PMs them saying he is ready with the dates.

What's the point guys? How can you expect anyone to make a decision when the dates haven't been finalised till now?

Guys, I understand the sarcasm in your tone but if people don't know when this is happening, how do you expect them to confirm? I, for one can't confirm till I know the confirmed dates and believe me I REALLY want to attend this one. Being Self-Employed has its problems, like I discovered on the recent Sepang trip.

So before this gets any more sour I suggest we finalise the dates & then see what the turnout is like.

Ishaan , the problem with us confirming the dates will be that there will always be someone (in this case a whole lot) who will complain that the dates didn't suit them and such and we ought to take their consent .. And when we request them to put up the tentative dates they could want the meet to be held none actually bother to turn up and post ??

As much as it would help all you guys interested post up dates so that we could choose the best possible date we are forced to choose a date a few of us are comfortable and end up getting gaalis from the rest as its inconvenient to them .. That said , I guess by tomorrow evening I shall put up TWO tentative dates based on which interested parties can vote and decide on one ..

That's absolutely fair Rahul, it's a problem in every meet's organisation. I suggest you take a consensus of the most probable attenedees via Phone/PM and then post the most relevant two dates here for everyone else's opinion. I know how hard planning & organising a meet is & so can understand what a huge task organising a National Meet is.

If you need any help, you can count on me. And for those who crib because they can't attend on the decided dates, too bad but we can't please everyone.

You girlies are all getting excited about karting in the rains on a wet track, but has anybody actually checked with Karl to see if his track would be open around that time?

Seeing that we might be about two weeks late in comparison with the last National Meet I don't see a point why the karting centre would be shut .. Infact the last time we went around to the same place , the lady (zombie as someone put out) said they were open all through the year .. A proof of this was our not so recent trip since the National Meet ..

And karting in the wet is not for the faint hearted .. The less you think about it Miss Pinky (thats what you are famous as in bangalore for some odd reason) the better .. Khaadu , if blue boys is coming you might have some stiff competition drifting ..

BRING ON THE BLUE BOYS ( who are they ) , I aint scared at all ... as long as the track is wet Ill eat them all !!!

As for the track ..mclaren is right , the track is open through the year except on Mondays ( I think its monday --or it cud be tuesday ) !!! Infact this time around we cud even take a drive down to the track in South Goa and have a go there . I believe thats the actual track , the ones where the national CS is held .

Cheers

Ain't no boys, boss. Just one guy. Dry or wet don't make no difference.
