maaaanson! I have NO idea what code you are speaking again! Where did you see Mc@6am? 6 am was Sion man!

Mumbai - Khandala:
Distance: 100km
Time: 1hr. 30mins.
Avg. Speed: 66.6kmph

Khandala - Amby Valley gate:
Distance: 20km
Time: 20 mins
Avg. Speed: 60kmph

Total Distance one way: 120km
Total Time one way: 2 hours
Average Speed: 60kmph

Double that on the trip back with an additional hour thrown in. and we are still comfortably back in town by 11.30am. LATEST.

That makes for a nice and easy ride.

ok RT, no new code.

I meant lets prepone sion to 5.30 so that we can recah macs by 6 and be sure to reach your breakfast place by 7.30.
Take a short regrouping halt and head to amby.
Head for breakfast after the amby stint. And leave loony by 9ish for the ride back.

awww baby, now dont you wanna be a part of the fog that uncle sinner posted in the thane meet thread?

btw, if sion 5.30 a.m. is an issue, you could try to reach macs directly at 6.00 a.m. via tyhe ghorbunder road, i m guessing it would be slightly easier, right?

Report:
Veyron, Guzzler and i rode to Karjat and back.
I was up at 5, but all tired and sleepy, then veyron called, a confirmation call to guzzler and i was up and riding.

Met a parked veyron at bandra east around 6.10, we then reached macs at 6.45 odd to see guzzler drink water for a change. Took off almost immediately and halted only at karjat.

Some grub, a couple of pictured from fancy phones and we were on our way back, which again was without a halt except where guzzler and veyron waited for a couple of mins for the acer to rejoin.
Usual riding, veyron flying, guzzler doing his understated steady act, i yet trying to gang around them, got home at 9.15 sharp. Went off more or less as planned.

Wish the others could have come, but there's always a next time.

manson.

p.s. destination was changed to karjat as i wasnt too ken on doing a long ride.

Ah. Still don't have no net at home. Yet; so can't post pics. Will put in detailed report with pics later.

Nice ride. Good company. Need to change my footpegs now. Scraped both my footpegs four times throughout the ride, and the metal peg-ends have begun to wear out..although I was a li'l apprehensive this time..the roads were stricken with dew...

Like manson said, should have another meet/ride soon...one more before the monsoons spoil the party...

Good to see manson making a hue and cry about leaving early only to end up being the last one to arrive! LOL! Some things never change!
