I was quiet busy for the last few days. That doesn't mean that I have forgotten about this. Well, everything is being worked out well.
The resort options at Wynad is working out very expensive. I don't think it will be a good idea to spend close to 5k just for Bed and breakfast. Is it? The total expense will be more than 8k or so. And team-bhpians ain't so rich when it come to meets!

So, I have been in discussions with some guys who have a farmhouse bang in middle of the Silent valley forests. I will post some pics and details of it after I do a short visit to that place. I promise, I will do it after this weekend.

The first drops, lightning and thunders are just happening outside my window as I type this.

We are days away from monsoon rains. We already had the first taste yesterday. Had to switch on the electric water heater after a long time, usually we depend on solar heating.

Actually it was just a teaser.
Yes, It rained and the thunders were loud and there were a few lightning flashes. It also stayed dark and cloudy for the whole evening. But I think it was like GHANAN GHANAN from Lagaan. Today it is Hot and no pieces of dark clouds to be seen anywhere. And the weather reports now indicate a delay of couple a days.

Actually we would be happy if it rains! Rains and hills! WOW!!

Zak, we'll have to ford the river to get into the farm. Cars can do it only of the water levels are less. During monsoons, only the jeep with 4wd can cross it. That too only if its raining less.

Better if we can organize the meet as the rain starts.
