How about starting off 2022 with a nice drive meet? I'm tied up with some travel this month and will be open beginning early next month.

There are a couple of my colleagues, friends who might also join in as they are also car enthusiasts.

Therefore, I am proposing Feb 7th (Saturday) as a possible date for this drive meet. It would be nice to do a drive to Leavenworth, Enjoy some Bratwursts...LOL and drive back late afternoon? What say?

Based on confirmations we can start a "Aye" list.

I wish I could join. But not yet. April - May is what my schedule looks like.. that is if this third wave doesn't throw any more spanners in
Leavenworth sounds great. Icy roads but incredibly beautiful landscape.
Will enjoy that remotely I guess once you guys put up the travelog!

Happy New Year! Count me in. As of now my schedule is open unless my office requires me to travel. Leavenworth should be a good drive. Hopefully the weather gods don't decide to mess up again. PNW is struggling after the recent snow/rain dump.

Re: Team-BHP Meets @ Seattle, Washington

Folks, updating the list below.

Naga may not join as he recently had a baby and needs to take care of kiddo.

Other folks are confirmed and they will be joining. Aren't there any more takers who live in this area?

Any proposals on :

Where to meet?
Where to stop enroute for some nice vistas,
where to stop for lunch in Leavenworth (German Cuisine would be nice).

Please note wherever we need to stop, there should be space to park 5-6 cars which seems to me like the biggest challenge in Washington.

Welcome. Congratulations on your first car. Subaru is always an amazing choice.

Guys, I have one question for you all. Is there any challenge if we move this drive to Sunday (instead of Saturday) which is Feb 6th. Are you still ok to join?

If there are conflicts, then we can stick to Feb 5th. I'm open on both Saturday and Sunday. Asking this for some of my offline friends.

Re: Team-BHP Meets @ Seattle, Washington

Hey Mobike, I am okay with both the dates. Lets decide based on others opinion for sunday. We should have confirmed date atleast a week before so we have no surprises in the last moment.

About the meet up location I think anywhere in bellevue/redmond should be fine. I'm 20mins away from bellevue/redmond.

I am not quite familiar with vista points enroute to levenworth, Should google unless others have any ideas, its been more than 4 yrs I have been to levenworth where my wife broke her hand when she slipped of the snowy surfaces during christmas.

Open to any place for lunch.

+1 - having visibility a week in advance would be awesome. I have been here for just 2 months so unable to suggest places.

Sorry to know about your wife's accident at Leavenworth. I know it leaves a bad taste in the mouth in general about the place. But, I hope this trip will change that view.

I will also be visiting Leavenworth after almost 7 years. Last visited in 2015.

Let me stop confusing people and we will stick to same date as originally proposed. Feb 5th.

Original Date is confirmed. 5th Feb

Don't worry on the overall plan. My pal Ram is an expert on PNW and he will come up with an entire plan which I will share here later.

Aren't there anymore takers.

Sad that you won't be able to join. Let's plan another one soon after this one. Keep glued to this thread.

Btw, does your X3 have an "Auto Nation" listed on number plate at back? If, yes then I may have spotted your car.
