Hyderabad Mid year Tbhp meet(drive) - JUNE

hey guys..

the road from icirsat till patancheru is bad.. really bad.. it's still under construction..

guys.. just in case the drive aint happenin.. will there be a lunch meet or something like that?.. am in for a in city meet.. not that keen on a drive..

btw any word from satish or rishan bhai abt the drive? they comin?

Juz had a talk with Rishan, he is busy with his work at China...so I dont think he could come. Someone can ring up.

I am personally going to check out alternative routes which would avoid ICRISAT route. Would let you know by mid of June

Raj and me are also checking the option of Singur Dam near Sadasivpet as the venue, which is very bigger than Manjeera dam.

the so called bad road is hardly for a 2 km only if we go through BHEL from lingampally(that 2 km strech is between ICRISAT and patancheru), so that will not be a problem; Also driving through the BHEL campus would be fun - all the cars going in a rally through the cool surroundings. BTW, the road isnt that bad, i do 50 to 60 kmph on that road on my way to work on my suzuki zeus. the only problem is the road isnt wide and the ends are dug up for the sake of road widening, so overtaking takes some time and judegment.

Also i will check the road to what extent it is damaged, to make sure we dont get surprises. Also as ravi said, Singur Dam is a good option, its bigger than manjeera and we get to travell more distance (this is supposed to be a drive, isnt it).

that looks like a good idea provided we have good no.of femme joining us. so that we don't have a surprise of having one female joining the crowd.

rightly said romy,
we did have that situation in dec. meet but on the contrary there was only one girl in the last meet as well but she wasnt uncomfortable nor anyone of us. it depends on the women who turn up rather than numbers.

anyways, all who are for family say 'aye'. lets see how many 'ayes' we have. if we have more than one 'ayes', then we shall go ahead with it.
