AM assuming you dont mind driving down to Mumbai/Amby Valley. Can I suggest Karjat for the drive or Mansons fav halt Alibaug.

Road to Karjat is in great shape, the countryside road isnt too bad either.
Gerard has earlier mentioned the road further to our (biker boys) usual breakfast place is good too, leads to a riverside.

And, i am always up for Alibaug, make that Jiraad too. The road that leads to main Alibaug is rather bumpy compared to the smooth curvy road thats featured in the video Rehaan compiled of last year's drive.

Boys, the point is not to organise a meet. That can happen easily. The idea is to do a plain 'ole fashioned drive. Assemble early morning, drive, breakfast, drive, home. That sort of thing. It's been a while since we've had one of those. And the only feasible date is a public holiday. I suggest we still keep this one on.

Troubles to get out of city will always be there, but what to do. Lets not do Amby Valley. Every kid, his parents, grandparents, and their uncles, and their wives and their kids will be there.

The posts indicate that there are few members who are up for the drive irrespective of the destination. And, most know how bad Amby can be on a national holiday.
Lets keep it to Karjat or Jirad, roads to either are in good shape, and i doubt they would be crowded at any point of the year.
