Dont think i can make it on the 15th and please guys gong for a drive anywhere on the 15th is lke a nightmare. Traffic will be crazy. Think KArjat will be fine but where in Karjat will we go?

The other option Alibaug, the road towards alibaug, post jiraad - alibaug diversion is a bumpy one.
But the road ro jiraad after the diversion is quite nice, have done that route a few times. Jiraad would be approximately 110 kms from central mumbai.

Yes as Manson said Karjat is too close! And no drink and drive allowed!

So that quiet place - ruled out!
The place you are refering too is further down the same road towards a place called River Gate Resort is located about 95 kms from Mumbai and 100 kms from Pune.
