Btw, as always, I am not fully confirmed . This time its 90-10 will go. Depends upon getting the car in time.

CC supposed to reach tomorrow. Some new wiring trouble identified. Security system keeps doing 'keek keek' and left passenger door all of a sudden not locking with central lock. Nippon has certified that security system does not have any prob. So wiring is being checked. Then fit AC, then polish, then delivery. Hopefully this Sunday. After that ICE needs to be sorted out.

That leaves only 4 days buffer till Thursday (Friday is a holiday, Saturday is trip D-Day).

The 10% chance of not going is if Murphy goes on overdrive again.

Talk about Murphy and he strikes with a vengeance!!! Have been called to Mumbai for a week on some urgent work... leaving tonight. As of now, I should be back by 9th; but knowing my organization, I would keep my fingers firmly crossed!

In case I'm not able to make it, I'll see if my friend Rony is able to take his car and join you guys. Hope you don't mind. Some of you might actually know him, he's from South Point 1999 batch.

Aha - so there's a possibility of your joining. We are leaving on the 10th, Saturday. Preferably around 8-9am so that we reach in time for lunch.

1> The goras. 5 projects and all in the implementation/major change stages. Worst, i suspect that none of the goras have been told when i joined (in oct) that i will be taking a break in nov.
2> The home dept.

Two huge challenges. If I circumvent these two issues i am in.

P.S.: 8-9 am?!!! *$!#* how will I reach any pickup point so early in the morning? Will have to come from sodepur... unless of course some kind soul picks me up from somewhere close by.

go there and come back on the same day - keno?? you can start early next morning and reach kolkata by noon.

i seem to have completely messed up the dates. I have to be in town 10th evening, so no way I can go.

head-count as of now:

1. shuvc + Family (1 room)
2. rocker + ETC (1 room) [my brother and his friend decided to ditch ]
3. wimwian + friends (2 rooms)
4. razor + kaun? (1 room)
5. xeta + wifey (1 room)

so we have 1 AC room and 1 Non-AC room still to go - anyone can fill in and as usual tag along.

Planet will be staying at home - i think there is a leak in the radiator - she will be taking a break this time. i am tagging along with shuvc / razor.

@ Zappo / BP - please decide - make it to the meet.

@ Zappo - take a train from sodepur to sealdah (30 mins) - hire a Cab from sealdah to Nicco Park (45 mins max). do you know any alternate / faster / shorter route to Nicco Park / DumDum Airport - because AFAIK we will take that route while going to Bolpur.

the POA can be as follows:

1st meet point: opp Nicco Park @ 8.30~8.45AM
2nd meet point: near Haldiram's, VIP Road @ 9AM (meet shuvc)

Zappo: Take a Taxi from Sodepur and get down at Jessore Road-VIP Road junction (comes out somewhere near Birati onto Jessore Road)...It will be shorter in terms of time
