I'll be at alleppey the week running upto christmas. But i have no idea where is the place of the wedding. Can anybody please help with the details. Coming from trivandrum side, is this thangi after cherthalla? Or before it?

I wont be able to log-in once i leave to alleppey. So, i'll be glad to have some numbers by PM.

Also, couldnt see the time of the wedding anywhere in the thread. Or did i miss it?

After Alleppey, you know you have reached Cherthala when you encounter the 4 lane highway. (Somewhere between alleppey and cherthala, there is a section of NH with a median in between - do not be confused by that).

This should not be too difficult to locate. There is the Cherthala railway station somewhere in the vicinity where the 4 lane highway starts. (But I still cannot exactly place the junction.) But the read the instructions again -

Guys from Tvm, turn left from the first traffic signal soon after the 4 way road starts. This junction is known as Thangi junction

So I guess that after turn off the highway, you will be crossing the railway line - not sure.

Yes thangi is after chertala when coming from Tvm. on the highway, its the 1st set of traffic lights after the 4 lane proper starts
