Good Idea, I am there for 15th March only not on 16th

These trips can be made in a day.

Nice suggession but please rule out Ramee guestline. It is like inside city limits only. Full of traffic.

How about Devrayana Durga, any nice food joints there? or we have to come back to A1 plaza or Kamat on NH4

Bah, has no one been paying attention or what? A lot of us CANNOT AFFORD to drive 100 kilometres to nowhere. I'd much rather spend half the money karting in BLR, or sitting down (or standing) for a boisterous meal and round of drinks with other people on this forum.

I'm sorry for being so blunt, but half the drives turn out to be very boring and a huge waste of a day.

I agree with Binz. You concentrate on the track day and for the meet you can always hitch a ride with somebody.

Sorry, the idea of a meet is to MEET people. Not spend 4 hours cooped up in a car with 2 other people, out of 40. Then get to some place where the food may or may not be palatable, and the beer will most likely be warm.

Trackday is a separate entity, please don't confuse the two.

Guys,

My work schedule has changed to 10 days work followed by 4 days off. But the sad thing is, I am working this Saturday and Sunday. If it is close, I can still come over after work as I finish at 2.00 PM. Cant do overnighters though :(

Cheers,
Rajan

Exactly my point, in fact during our yelagiri meet (YES MEET) we indeed MET a lot of people and chatted a lot and also it was the longest drive too.

You cannot meet people in a restaurant, you can do that only when all are gathered in an open space/resort like we had during the Yelagiri or for that matter the Nandi hills drive and that nice resort booked by Maggie.

Go Karting or drinking in a nearby restaurant may be a personal liking or choice but I suggest dont confuse it with a MEET

Folks,

I was digging around in our backyard recently searching for oil reserves, but found some currency notes instead (must be due to the fertilizer brand we use). So, can we have a meet of sorts ?

I also have advanced information about the high possibility of a special guest being in Bengalooru this month. Will post dates once I get clarity on that. Can we plan a meet around this month then?

Considering you drive a kart for about 15 minutes, and the meet lasts half a day, I'm thinking a lot. Whereas if the meet lasts half a day, and you spend 4 hours in your car, a little less.

Oh gee, I'm sure we should run that by the Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata guys, seeing as they're always NOT meeting people in a restaurant.

Ok guys, whatever the majority wants, at the end of the day. I just wish we could have a Mumbai type MegaMeet here too. I guess that ain't happening.
