Had a very small meet. There were only 6 of us. Nikhil left after 10 minutes, Greenhorn left after about an hour. Only JK, redfire, me and Hydra were left.
Talk was mostly about ICE and I just sat and listened cos I know jack about it

Hydra, Greenhorn, JKdas

"One Large Ethiopian"...
Does it read ceo? Only ceo gets it or it makes you feel a ceo

Though it was a small meet, it turned real good. Thanks a lot Hydra for showing up and your valuable feedback and suggestions on ICE. Really happy to see you.

JK/Srijit? What is your idea to alert meets? Eager to know.

It needs another thread where we can share the required info, but basically it involves an SMS notification service, where JK will send one message which will be routed to all those who signup for the notification. Signup is free if done through website. Groups can be set as private/invite only. Visiting cheap guests/other members can send an SMS to the group owner, in case they want to call a meeting. You can stop receiving SMS's if you are out of station, or just dont want it. You can start receiving it again later.

Both services work over the web as well as through SMS, so the group owner can call a meeting anywhere

Have narrowed it down to two sites which offer this service. I think that another thread where we can share group names with other Team-BHP members is required. But first we need to test it out.

JK, srijit, Greenhorn, redfire & nikhil, it was great talking to you all!

redfire, as I said that day, you have a really nice sounding ICE setup there! Nice exhaust note too!

Too bad I had to leave so fast. I look forward to meeting you folks again!

I'm sorry I took so long to post here. I had a pretty crazy experience yesterday evening on the way back to Kochi from TVM: A bunk filled Petrol & water in my tank at 60-40 ratio. And my tank was nearly empty when I tanked up. The car ran for 3 meters and quit. This happened at one of the bunks where I'd been filling petrol since our first car (and I'd been waiting to get to this bunk to tank up!!!). Luckily this was near enough to my place, so I dropped my wife and the luggage off at home by taxi & got a mech from Popular Maruti to come see the car (which is when the petrol issue was figured out). I got the car towed the the A.S.S. by a tempo (took me an hour of walking in the heavy rain to find a guy) and finally got back home by 9.00PM. The pouring rains and the flooded roads did not help any.

I thank my stars this did not happen on the way from TVM to Kochi. I know the petrol bunk owner and since he saw what happened with his own eyes (I don't think this happened on purpose, from what I know of him), he's promised to make good all damages and fill me another full-tankworth of petrol. And thank god my new ICE was not installed yet. We had to push the car for 100 mts to a shed in the pouring rain with the windows down and the insides of the door and the door-pad are soaking wet.

I'm taking delivery of the car in a few hours.

remember to check if your tow hook is returned as well. the Guys at the T.A.SS conveniently forgot , and I've been running after them with no effect.

how come the windows were open? Couldnt you have wound them up without the engine running , or were you just impatient.

It was fun talking with you too hydra. Looking forward to meeting you and your hopefully your iced ride in the future
