I believe he's a doctor of some sort. Drives a diesel Swift and a Verna too, thought the Swift is the preferred weapon of mass destruction - in addition to a Canon that looks like a bazooka.

Part 3

Lunch was interesting,
the waiter was running helterskelter, but the food never seemed to get to the table.the veggie guys suffered a bit. there were heated discussions at both the ends of the table and everyone was chipping in with questions and answers.

the items on the bill of fare
duck roast
prawn fry
prawn roast
appam
rice
certain liquids that are not endorsed by teambhp, sourced by ram.

there was a little confusion over the bill, with everyone trying to pay their share and ram trying to pay for everyone. after all the calculations and collecting money- we ended up with Rs1000 more than what was required for the bill.

we then clustered around ashvins zen, and were treated to the sight of his sub woofer in action.

then some nice music from ashvin's FFE

anyone having clips of these should put them up in youtube.

Wis was photographed in a compromising position

Wis had been running from pillar to post trying to find the answer to the eternal question-Where shall I pee?(kingfisher in action?)
he asked his wiser seniors, and in true teamBHP style all of us pointed at different points in the compass.

he ran around some more in the north-south direction, then zig zag, then in circles and then finally gave up and chose a scenic corner in kalpakavadi's grounds.

this incident should impress upon newbies the futility of asking questions to TBHPians, hoping for a straightforward answer.

we set off again from kalpakavadi, this time, the rules were better followed and no one went over the speed of 60 till our return trip.no one overtook anyone on narrow, poorly maintained sections of non existent roads either.

No one overtook ashvin and mansidea when they were bottled up behind a Force traveller.

after a lengthy trip through the narrow potholed lanes of allepey district,a detour and detailed discussions with the local population on the best road to cheriazheekal, we reached the tsunamic struck area.

one man's curse is another man's blessing.
the wave had dumped tons of sand on the road and demolished buildings. most of us used the sand to slide a little.

wis claims to have done a 180 degree turn as a planned maneuver.

after that, the pics you saw in the prev posts tell the story.
mad rush to line up the cars before the "light" went. everyone snapping madly at the cars with every camera at hand.

zak collapsed from all the strain, but in true ex army tradition continued to shoot valiantly from the ground.

to be concluded.....

ahem. well this was very very nice meet. had a lot of elements. people from different places for one. a nice location. good food of course. a nice drive to a very scenic spot which gave chance to many a picture to be taken. ample parking space where ever we went. being the center of attraction of the whole village we passed through and stopped by. the roads were great most of the way but then at some areas i really had to slow down everyone behind me because of my low ground clearance and new rims and tyres. my apologies for that. it was a great meet and i should hope we do many more of these in the near and distant future!

@jkdas- bro next time you need to let me know in advance and i shall spare some for you. and how come you are bent on having a picture of me in action (so as to say) put on display here .. i say let this art form be and it is something that should be witnessed rather than be made an image of! hehe

oh and here are some random pictures by me. they are very unprofessional and taken on my camera phone, hence do bear with me.

there's Dr Pullockaran,MaserQ and mansidea.

jkdas and vichu

nikkibike

kpzen,ram_hyundai and the back of rippers head

speedzak in action

quilon - across the water

chinese fishing nets(if you haven't seen them yet )

the sunset from my car
