Yes, m-hawk, the rains during the last few days were a bit unusual for this time of the year, but fortunately meet day yesterday was bright and sunny, and we had loads of fun

11:50am - 12:30pm

This was going to be my first meet at Team-BHP, and I was really looking forward to it. Finally, it was the day when I was going to see in flesh and blood, the persons behind some of the Team-BHP handles/nicknames :-)

The scheduled time for rendezvous at ground zero (opposite the TIDEL park) was 12:00 noon, and here I was at home at 11:50 am, already late, and with a 20-30 min drive to TIDEL. My cousin brother Karthi was going to accompany me along with his friend, Jana. Both of them are quite interested in automobiles, and SUVs in particular. They had already reached our house by 11:30am as they had promised. Now we did not want to waste any more time, and took the cameras, a bottle of water and started out at 11:55am.

There was not too much traffic, and we made it in 20 mins. As I was approaching ground zero along the OMR, I took the entry into the service lane a bit earlier, since I did not know if there would be another entry point opp. TIDEL. But later found that there indeed was an entry opp. TIDEL. Anyway, as I approached, I could see a convoy of parked cars in the service lane, obviously must be Team BHPians

. But could not see Arka's MM540 and headers' Gypsy (whew ! we were not too late then).

There was a round of introductions with those already present, then we waited for the other's to join. One by one, we were joined by bottle and his friends, esteem_lover, then Arka alongwith nitrous, and headers in his recently-modified Gypsy.

One thing I am forgetting to mention is the weather : the intermittently heavy and out-of-season rains during the past few days had me worried if rain would play spoilsport on this day, but as supremeBaleno had predicted, it ended up being a bright and sunny day (good for photography as well, as can be seen from the pics already posted by others).
