LOL. That sure was one heck of a conversation.
hahaha...naw, no hangover can keep me away from a car/bike meet.

i had gone to meet the guys for lunch, and was then supposed to head to mahabs to meet you guys.

Thats when the Jawa 350 i was riding gave up the ghost and refused to move. Even a rescue Bullet couldn't tow it. So by the time I got it moving, it was already 5 in the evening and it was too late to go fetch a spare bike. Thats when I started calling Mahendra and pestering for updates

Sure, zak. Why don't you do the honours for our next meet ?

Apart from those in the Mahabs group snap, there were some tbhp-ians who came to the meeting point at TIDEL, but did not join the drive. They must be in the other photos taken at TIDEL. How about putting a name to them also ?

if you dont know, I guess you really dont know.

They had a limited run in India. We've got about 18-20 of these running in existance among friends. Am sure there are more of them around, but unaware of their existance.

It was badged a Yezdi coz it was made in the Jawa factory in Mysore. Most of the bikes today are running brand new engines which a collector friend of ours in Bangalore managed to bring out when the factory closed down.

bike pictured here is from a friend's bike in Bangalore.

cheers

Baggage ? As in people ? Only 2 of us. BTW, once I ignored the 4th and 5th gears, it did make it a wee bit more interesting.
