push it as in postponement ? I don't think it is a good idea. we can have another major drive next month, but this one stays on course. I am particularly thrilled by the number of first timers that are joining us. manek, push yourself & get in man, you might become too thirsty on Saturday.

Anyways, F1 qualifying is from 8.30AM to ~10AM IST on saturday.

Here's the tentative schedule folks.

Meeting Point : Opposite Tidel Park
Time : 9.00-9.30 am
Start driving in the ECR,
find a good spot enroute for sand offroading,
Chilling out with car talk at Mahabs
Lunch at Mahabs
Karting on the way back.

P.S. Suggestions are most welcome

. Have fun and post pics/video of the sand driving you all wanna do.

Lemme suggest Ideal beach resort for lunch.Excellent place and so is the ambiance. For the meat eaters at the meet, try some Pepper beef and beer for starters.

Let the rendezvous time be 11AM at the same place.
Reason: First F1 GP qualifying after 5 months of starvation. We enthusiasts can't afford to miss this.
This is Chennai summer. So, no matter how interesting the activity is, one doesn't like roasting in Chennai summer sun overhead.
Lets finish indoor activities first and then head to outdoors once the sun is descending.
12 PM :Tidel park. Say the hi's and hello's and start the drive to Mahabs
~1.30 PM: Reach mahabs for lunch and get the car talk revving. (Moi and headers shall get into coffee-toffee argument for everyone's entertainment sakes

)
~2.30 PM:Start from Mahabs towards Kart Attack.
~3.15 PM:Reporting to Karting paddock for some racing action
~4.30 PM:Sun's down and 4x4s ON! Venue is gonna be some poor beach. (Hope the locals dont stone us)
~5.30 - 6: Ta-ta,by-by!

I agree. We can have another meet later also.

I would love to call them ( considering the wonderful time I had at the track ) but dont have their contact details.

Sounds like a good plan, I am game for any time, be it 9:00 as E_L suggested or 11:00 as Nitrous suggested.

But hope people don't get inspired too much by the F1 action they see to try them on the ECR.

. I will coming in my Alto, most probably would be coming alone, so anybody wants to hitch a ride is most welcome.
