Do they have on-board timing sensors and stuff like a regular kart track or is it still just a track+carts?

Sounds like you had good fun. Maybe Ripper's kart had leaf springs?

No steeroid ,they dont have that.I had seen it in bangy and madras.they used to give us lap by lap timmings too.
This was an expierience guys.just came back after arrond 30 laps or so.
The initial feel after the track was that my car dint have steering at all.the not so soft steering of verna was like feather.
It will be a good outing venue for all and to get the feel how those big guys would feel like.
so tired off to bed.more on this tommorow.

It was good fun

I spun out a coupla times too. Could do only 5 laps in total. Ripper and I kept waiting for a second go, but we had to leave before the Karts were free - only 3 Karts go at a time.

I'm definitely going again. I wish this would be a permanent Karting track.

I've been analysing the videos of my sub par performance and have come to the following conclusions

no amount of talent can make up for
1.poor tyres
2.wrong suspension set up
3.out of tune engine
4.wrong brake bias
5.wrong track surface
6.adverse weather conditions
7.over-aggressive competitors
8.partisan spectators
9.unsympathetic sponsors
10.lack of safety equipment

there are more reasons to why I could not put my god given talent on display, but these are the cardinal causes of why I have'nt recieved a call from F1 yet.
However, In the interest of furthering motorsport's popularity in india, and to make sure that all the other BHPians recieve enough training in the art of driving fast and smooth,I shall continue to grace the track with my august presence.

that is a bald faced lie! the cart can topple, I think I came pretty close

Rs90 for 5 laps or Rs140 for 10 plus Rs17 for every extra lap i think.
we could also avail corporate rates, not sure about those.

what do you mean it was fun? this is serious business! how will you improve if you go in with this attitude? you need the killer instinct! eye of the tiger! Grrrr.

PS- to tell you the truth,I was scared and had absolutely no control over the cart for the first 8 laps which led to some spectacular crashes. but the last 2 laps were tolerable for the spectators.

I'm going back for sure!!!!
