Just came back from an old 'adda' of ours, the Grand bar. The place has changed completely and has been renamed as the 'Couchyn Lounge'. Food is as good as ever, the waiters are very very attentive and the crowd is much younger - though the occassional oldie can be seen at the bar being served by his faithful old waiter.

They have a room upstairs for private gatherings - upto 15 pax. Sounds perfect and the karimeen pollichathu is as good as ever, according to my friend. How about this as a venue for the 'meat' part?

EDIT: The truck is not smoking anymore, thanks to a 1/2 hour express job at the ever reliable RF Motors where they cleaned out the Cat Con. Apparently they recommend replacement at 50k kms but they've cleaned mine instead for Rs.140. More power to RF, and a Test Drive report of the Indica Dicor is coming up - WHAT A SURPRISE!!! Palio MJD Test tomorrow, but it will have to be extra special to warrant 60k more than this surprise package.

@ ASHVIN-just the track for now. as you can see, there is no consensus on food yet. what is the monetary benefit in picking up the corporate scheme?

Just make sure they are from the male gender or a true blue wheel maniac so that they don't get bored.
