I am game anytime for a ECR drive, lunch/dinner at mahabs. We will have to find a different place there. From past experience, Moonrakers is to be avoided.

Why not a drive and photo shoot at Vedanthangal? Any good eateries enroute?

Scenic Locations are aplenty enroute to Vedanthangal. I once went with fellow Bikers (Xbhp guys) and had a very good session of shoot outs.

Not sure with the eateries part though. Finding a good one might be bit difficult

Nice.
I've always loved to go hunting.
Where can I borrow a gun with a scope?

There used to be an Arms & Ammunition shop next to Shanthi theatre. ( Inbwteen Shanthi and Anna theatres ). I used to buy my air guns and pistols from them. I also used to frequent them for the pellets. Its been over 17 years though, not sure if they are still in business.

You could try them Nitrous ji.

Wow, we keep bouncing OT here one too many a times lol

Do we also need to carry utensils for cooking and stuff.

Should be good though, we can also try some angling in the lake.

I like this idea indeed. air guns (for nitrous ji), tents, camps, juices, utencils to cook ( or take away food or ready to eat foods) and a camp fire ( no wild dances around it pls ! lol )

There is no big eatery enroute except for a Vegetarian Restaurant on GST road. We certainly need a Megazoom Camera or a really long lens with a Tripod to take some serious shots.

I'm not sure if Bird watching is everyone's cup of tea.

But photos of our rides ? This is the only stretch of road that's worth.

We could give a shot to the "Wild tribe Ranch" suggested by Nitrous some days back. With no rains for the last few days, the place would have become dry.

Hey good shot there,

I thought vedanthangal was a refernce point only. You anyways cant spend more than half an hour there (even if you are an avid bird watcher / shooter/ eater). Nothing much to spend time there, really.
