Great ride it was, did a total of 175 kms and reached home by 2PM after riding around. Will post the pics soon.

Nice interacting with you guys.

Lets do this meet often. Usually its a lazy saturday mornings, but this time it was good!

175 km total means you went onward somewhere? Google maps says Chennai to Mahabalipuram is ~ 54.2 km, and any arbitrary travel within Chennai may add or remove maybe 15-20 km to that figure.

How did you manage to clock 175 km on that ride, especially when we broke up in a hurry to await Jayalalitha's trial result? Good going, however you managed it - and that KTM Duke was a beautiful, beautiful beast, though I have a soft spot in my heart for the Enfield Cafe Racer.

It started raining when we arranged our rides for photo shot and ended up with a couple of snaps. Next time lets plan for a grand meet with good set of snaps.

BTW after departing I diverted towards the sea shore (some fisherman housing area between Mahabs and Kovalam)

ha ha.. cafe racers always have a special place

. My route was Velachery -> Mahabs -> Padappai -> Ambattur -> Velachery. The roads were empty because of the unrest and loved the ride! (Commu - touring :P)

Sorry about this time too. I will be driving to Velankanni during that weekend.
