you should have drove up to the gang & parked close by biju. Now relax.

I liked the meet though the drive to St Thomas wasnt there. I would have loved it if we spent more time talking on cars and bikes rather than just F1.

Lets get to have these meets at least once in a month. A track day is greatly missed.

I did take pics of some of the cars in the parking lot!. I'll post pics tonite, hopefully, and guys can identify their cars!.It was nice meeting up with fellow bhp-ians yesterday. Unfortunately , i had to leave early but enjoyed the time spent. Would have been nice if we had been to St.Thomas Mount before getting to the bar, but it's ok. Maybe next time!.

@Nitrous
Don't forget about "Track Day"cheers:

Yes, we should have done the drive to STM as planned. What's a meet without some driving around ?

And yes, we need to have a monthly short meet (Sunday half day), driving to some place inside the city, which would also give us a chance to know our city better.

North Madras beach (Thiruvottriyur) is a nice place to drive to.

Man, I am looking almost negligible in the group snap. Note to self : In group snaps in the future, never stand near nitrous.

EDIT : OK, I think the post did not turn out the way I expected it to. Was thinking my comments would come along with the snaps they refer to. Anyway...

Yeah I was wondering! too - E_L was the first to pick up the mug! lol

And yeah, next time, who ever takes a group picture, arrange the patrons! Tallest to the back, shortest to the front, and widest to the sides (pardon me, I'm wide too), and so on, so that the group photo comes good.

Night Shot Camera?

Hi Nick @ Nite,

Yep, I'm sure you were needing a good camera.
I was watching you shoot with your N95 5MP camera, in poor lighting.
Mobile cameras perform worst in a place like a Bar(poorly lit).
So you need some serious camera for that.

2 factors to consider:

1. Do u need a bulky camera?
or
2. A handy compact camera?

I would assume you like a handy camera, and so here:

What all you need in a Compact Camera to get best results? What to expect?

1. Light weight
2. Only marginal Zoom functions
3. A good consumer output, direct from the camera
4. Night light functions like - higher ISO, Image Stabilizer[IS] and a good flash.

Today cameras come with multiple face recognition, that means it knows where are the faces of humans in a frame. This is a good feature for a digital camera user, and will save a lot of time for you.

So if you drill down to these you might get:

1. Canon IXUS
2. Sony DSC W300
3. Canon Powershot SD950 IS
4. Kodak V1073 IS
5. Leica D- LUX 3

All of these are amazing cameras, with features that I mentioned above. These will take crisp indoor, poor lit photographs, and you shall be a happy man.

Cheers,
MillionSwords
