hey guys, sorry could'nt make it with you guys as had other commitments till late afternoon. Maybe next time.

But still managed to go for a drive to lavasa on the same day i.e 27th.

Reached there at around 6pm. Managed to get inside the city quite easily, the guard just noted down my name and no. and let us in. Hanged around at ekanth for some time and left back for pune. Had a great time. I must say that the roads are awesome. Fun to drive, had a blast.. Though my better half dint, she got all motion sick!

Hey one thing i really liked, once inside the gates, at all the steep turns these guys have installed those convex (or concave) mirrors, they give you a clear view of the other side.

Just curious, when i was entering the gates, right before that there was a small tapri, I saw a accent (or maybe a baleno) parked with two guys, wearing shorts, having tea or something.. was it someone from the mumbai team?

cheers.

yes. its a very decent place. i liked the deck it had, you can be there and enjoy the sunset. infact the parking lot of ekant gave a spectacular view of the dam and the reservoir and the sunset..!

the resort can be booked for Rs.2000/- per night which i feel is a good bargain. currently all the rooms are booked till the third week of may.! i'll definitely plan to stay there sometime in the monsoons..

I'm hardly the type that gets tickled by cars, but the Lancer looks really cool. The graphics are also lovely. Its painted, right? Not a sticker job.

The Swift is awesome. Love the "blazed customs" font.

Nice pics guys. Thanks for sharing.
IIRC, the Lancer was there during the Amby Valley drive too., and was also featured in Indian Express with the drive related article.
The Swift looks good. Especially the rear.
