Ginger would have loved to join but she lives with Anju's uncle now.... so no pets from my side.

Might not be in town during those weekends. Shall confirm about my presence a little closer to the date.

I would love to join too. Any day is fine by me. I am just curious to know the logistics, but I guess I will have to wait till 14th to see the entire plan.

So, 2 or 3 of you can pool up, buy the beer & the ice cubes. Put the beer's in the fridge overnight before the drive & then store them in the Ice box in the morning & also put the ice cubes in to maintain the temperature. They'll remain absolutely chilled for the next 4-6 hours especially since it's not going to be so hot early in the day.

We do this for our Off road sessions..thats why I'd suggested that! And the booze / beer from bangalore is better!

Ok, Ishan, why not you be our cheap guest?

It would surely be nice to have some decent food provided its available there... sitting here, we wont be able to know if the food there is good or bad right ? It would be better if somebody else who have visited this place apart from the drive and have eaten at any other hotel there would post here regarding the same.

I along with my friends once visited Yelagiri and had our lunch there in some hotel ( cant remember the name ) and the food there was nice... dont remember the name of the hotel as we were just passing by yelagiri and we decided to pay it a visit. Shall try and find out the name.

So, in effect you are saying that you are going to come with 20 such boxes loaded with booze & surprise us all. I can assure you we will be surprised & will be happy to have you as our cheeeeep guest.

Finally someone is coming out to help. Really appreciate that Keshav.

I went through that review yesterday itself. Look at the 30 other reviews on the same page. Went through all of them and a lot of people didn't have good things to say about the food here. Its so frustrating with such varied opinions .

Look at what I found. A detailed rating of all the resorts in Yelagiri.

Yelagiri Hills, India City Hotels : Read Yelagiri Hills Hotel Reviews and Compare Prices - HolidayIQ.com

Based on this rating, I am trying to work on a menu with the following two hotels:

1. Hotel Landmark.
Hotel Landmark

2. Sterling Resorts.
Yelagiri - The Mountains - Sterling Customers - Sterling Resorts

After going through the posts, I'm getting a drift that this is a stag party...or mostly so
Please correct me if otherwise.

Not necessarily. We have members who get their wives/gfs along as well. Some people even get their wonderful looking pets. It adds glamour to the whole event.

Joz, we will certainly miss Ginger!

Me to getting Wifey along with me. She is also eager to see so many car-freaks together.
