Report: Bangalore TBHP Yelagiri Drive on 25/5/2008.

Guys, first and foremost I would like to thank all those who made it to the meet. It was wonderful meeting you lot. Hope to see you guys more often.

As far as the meet is concerned, we had 10 cars leave from Dakshin Honda at 7 am. We reached A2B to have a quick bite. Soon we all met with the star attractions of the meet, namely patchyboys dogs (kids as he refers to them). The drive to Yelagiri was fantastic. I think bombatt has the videos that I recorded on his camera. We got a little stuck up with some slow moving busses and a ford escort on the hill climb.

We reached the resort and soon the intro's began. After that food was offered and some of us slipped in to the conference room to wet our dried up throats. Soon we had a few members who had boycotted the meet also turn up (thanks guys for making it to the meet). Soon everyone were laughing, cracking jokes amidst the non-stop flowing alcohol. Then few of us stepped out for lunch and headed back home after a group photo. Drive back on the ghats was hectic with a traffic jam holding all of us up for almost an hour. Got back home at 8 pm.

All in all it was a wonderful meet. And finally, we had 2 tripods at the meet as well

. Would also like to thank Rajiv, Navin, Satya, Asif for letting me ride shotgun with them. Will put up a detailed report a little later this week.

Thanks once again for coming. Looking forward to your reviews and pictures.

This was a good meet. Thanks to Mclaren1885 for the arrangements. Many people had come in with their families. Was sort of family get together of Bangy bhpians. I did not leave with other bhpians as my family members wanted to take the boat ride. So we stayed back and left at around 4.30pm. Got stuck up in jam on the hills itself for about 2 hrs. Ultimately reached home by 11.00 pm. Tired and exhausted. Have taken some pics will post them soon.

This was my first team-bhp meet and I and my wife enjoyed the drive, meet & get together a lot. It was wonderful meeting all the fellow bhpians and putting faces to screen names :-)

The drive -- especially after Krishnagiri to base of E-Lagiri hills was awsome.. loved the 'elantra's' burning the road with awsome speed..

I saw lots of people taking pics/videos.. so soon these folks should wake up and post the pics.. wake up guys.. it's monday now..

Rahul -- thanks for the meet buddy... well organized.. looking forward to the next meet already.. :-)

Even we had got stuck in it, we had started at 3pm and got stuck before the 8th bend(from ground) before moving again at 5pm. I was expecting to move around 6:30pm the way chaos was created.

Yeah! really impressed with the peted elantra's trying to fly at 200kmph and killing all the mosquitoes on the way.

This is my first Team-BHP meet. It was a nice experience for me and my wifey to meet so many bhpians with their family. Thank you mclaren for arranging this meet and all those who joined us to make this meet a great success

PatchyBoy sir, yours is a rocking family !! whereas you arranged for great booze with those ice chilled KF's, your wife took care of all of us by ordering and arranging food. And those yummy prawn fry which she prepared herself at home at 4 am in the morning. Simply great !

I will upload some pics once after PatchyBoy finishes with trip report and photos.

Also, we have some video clips recorded. I don't know how to and where to upload this. I will check YouTube.

Hey Rajan,
I was traveling and reached bangalore pretty late @ night around 11.PM on saturday and could not pick up the call as it was in silent and i knew it was for the meet. Good to see that you folks had a blast, post the pics soon.

Reached dakshina honda at 6:45am to see most of them were new faces this time as compared to the previous meet.

Loved the food in A2B and took lot of snaps of cars. Drive from A2B to krishnagiri was fun and was also recorded by rahul. The best part of our drive was from krishnagiri to yelagiri turn. The up hill climb was a bit crowded.

Gathered in a resort and had an intro session. Enjoyed playing 'MEAW' game, which revealed how many of them knew multiples of 7 and 7 existing in a number. Finally the winner as i expected was a 'Teacher', a fellow tbhpian wife.

Thanks to all the people who brought food and shared with us.

Drive back from yelagiri was a pain as there was traffic jam for around 1 1/2hr and after reaching GQ enjoyed driving and reached home at 7:30pm.

Was a wonderful meet and finally thanks to rahul for organizing the meet.
