@ripper - I will try my level best to confirm by tomorrow.Guess mine will be a late entry. If possible pls put up the cost & final head count with their respective cars as of now as this will be of great help to other members.

Btw Zak and Ripper you are doing a great job of organising this meet so well.

Note from the Team-BHP Support: We do NOT permit sponsorships of Team-BHP Drives in any direct / indirect way. Please refrain from posting any related message, or even on these kind of meets altogether.

This is not an activity that we can allow on Team-BHP since it is a clear violation of our stand against forum commercialisation by automotive players.

The times coming closer for the drive and I hope all cars in the convoy will have the necessary checks done. Make sure you all have decent headlamps ( which i dont) proper wipers, a cloth + newspapers just in case to clean the windshield for the car.

I did a trail run yesterday till cochin in my car and found the following and am rectifying the same:
found the batteries dead on the first crank, had to push it to get the car started. closer inspection shows batteries AMARON bought in march, so i am getting it changed anytime now.
Wipers were insufficient hence bought BOSCH stuff and it wipes super clean.
The last worry I have is the headlamp which doesnt light up as much i expect it to.

Hope you all have done your bit on the car.

A S H V I N, you are most welcome & my scorp will be happy to have a couple of extra pounds but only if you are ready for a D R I V E from COK after 2pm, through the shortest possible route to kuttikkanam. I guess its Piravam-koothaattukulam-ramapuram-pala-kanjirappally-kuttikkanam.

Is that a pre-requisite to join the gang??

ps: Can anyone tell me the climatic conditions between Trivandrum and Cochin? Planning to drive a friends bike upto Cochin, instead of couriering it. Interested to know if it rains in the morning.

BAD idea Srijit!!

During monsoons it ALWAYS rains almost throughout the day .And there is no way you will be able to avoid getting caught when you are doing distances like Tvm-Cok.

Please use that courier!

What a coincidence! We're going on a monsoon drive and there is this big advertisement of Bosch wipers watching over us like big brother

Tomorrow is the last date for confirmations.
so far we've had 24 confirmations. that means 2 rooms remaining. I think.
You snooze...you lose!

Do educate us, Dr Louis - what is it that you mean here?

1984, as far as I know, is about politics. That dishonourable profession is another speciality of Kerala, giving birth to the (unfortunately true) joke that 4 mallus = 2 parties.

What is the relevance of that subject on a TBHP drive thread? We have a good crowd for the drive - I'm afraid we have no space for excess or unwanted baggage.
