Hi CK, its great you again fell in love with that car. I like Esteems or any high revving petrol motors of that kind. Sankar ,Not bad at all .The one name you missed is my other friend who came along ,"Romin" and #11 is my friend "Shafeek".

And both of them got influenced by the BHPians and the great meet and they are already members here in TBHP

Guess I was the only guy to drive up alone - 6.5 hrs one way - everyone else had passengers. Madness I guess!

It has its advantages though. Its amazing how clear my thoughts are while driving - got my quota of thinking done!

I am all for "two nights and one day" kind of a trip. An overnighter is just too rushed!

Me and family reaches Summer Sands and we are busy with selecting the thingys for lunch. This is going to be the last meal we will all have together. So, I try and make it as good as it gets and as easy for everybody. No upset stomachs/whinings/unwanted exhaust noises while everybody drives back casually to their cocooning homes.
I assure the restaurant captain that our group is somewhere busy in the meadows and they can take up to one hour before everything gets ready. So, the captain is a bit relieved too. Otherwise, making a lunch for 25 crazy BHPians in a jiffy ain't that easy he knows from the previous experience!

OH MY GAAAWWWWD!!
I hear a truck pulling in to the resort premises. Followed by some other well known cars.
Did I say 1 hour before these guys come??? MAN!!! What happened to the Meadows' tour??? Did they forget about it and tried following me?? Who was the navigator??? Many questions bounce up and down in my mind.
I try and explain the captain about some goof ups and ask him to get everything ready A.S.A.P!!!

I confront Mr. Steeroid and ask why are they here so quickly and he turns my face towards the sky and I understand. It was drizzling at the meadows and they couldn't manage to get out for a tour. So, they slowly moved on to the resort where they could atleast leisure around! Well! Good decision taken.

As you guys may know, there is a beautiful pine forest near this resort and it attracts quiet a huge crowd. So, why not take a stroll around??? The question sounds good to many and many screw up their faces due to the rains.We ask the resort for some umbrellas and they happily provide us with 4 of them (Maybe, they wanted to keep us away and busy till the food gets prepared ).

Some are interested in getting HIGH!! Yes, last night's HIGHness went down the drain for many. But now there was a problem, this resort has no bar license and they seems to follow the rule. So, no booze to buy and as you know, all the booze from last night went to the KERALA's finest! Somebody becomes a saviour and bounce up with 2 cases of beer stocked up somewhere hidden in a car's boot. They all now get together and the open the Kaar-o-baar! The resort doesn't allow boozing in their building premises either!! This time it is Steer's Safari doing the duty of the bar and entertainment system.


KAAR and the BAAR opens up and everybody around is enjoying WARM barley!


Iraghava is trying to get some beer sense into the most photographed head on team-bhp.

Others moved on to the PINE forest with the umbrellas and some even had fresh guavas which was contributed by a BHPian monkey. It didn't rain initially but slowly it started drizzling again. But it was great to be back again in this Pine valley.


The View is very much great!
