Yeah and he was kind enough to brake! Until the brake failure:

@ Nitrous: Where are you and let our friends know your experiences!

Hey guys, come on, there is no wound and no salt - We just had a friendly challenge as to who would be faster in the circuit. Thats all.

I'm sure Nitrous would want to tell some important things he realised in the cardboard box on track as well.

But maybe he's not wanting to get into arguments until he sets right his car. Atleast he was a BIG sport to come on track guys - you should appreciate that.

Madan100 - so when is the next track day?

hi nick, unfortunately, all senior members were not present. We had only 1 camera and our Mission_safari doing the honours, after the practise sessions.

Our esteemed Organrisers, Madan80, Nitrous to organise another one this weekend, of they could confirm by today.

Nitrous, Madan are you guys listening. Our official photographers, Neoranjit, Nick@nite, etc are eagerly awaiting.

Mr. SB is all set to give us a "surprise" ! John aka E_L loves his car too much to test it on track.

Nick are you game to come on track or is it just for applause?

BTW, we missed the bells and whistles too, last weekend!

If we have one this Sunday, I would be there. But then having P&P sessions back-to-back on consecutive weekends might not be a good thing too. Would leave it to the track-day organisers (nitrous & madan) to decide.

Even the weekend after next ie. 9-10Aug is fine with me.

What surprise are you talking about, vikram ? None that I am aware of.

Ha, that one. No.

To be frank, while I did enjoy the one time I took my car on track, I found that I do not really relish running circles around the track. Not my kind of fun. Maybe the next time they organise some competitive dragging at MMST, I might gather the courage to enlist for that.

But I would be there to encourage you guys and to make some feeble attempts at taking some nice snaps hopefully.

Ok, if the event is ON, then the Beer is on you. I need to down a chilled beer after every session

Going by the posts and the lack of organrisers showing any response, looks like there is nothing happening this weekend.

Atleast I'll have my offroading to do

OT @ SB: care to explain your signature ?

Tbhp does not endorse driving under the influence.

Hey I already explained it on the chennai-tbhp meet thread - see quotes below from that thread. Or, are you asking me to repeat it just to rib poor nitrous ?

Ha ha, first lets leave my friend NItrous out of this.

Now lemme answer your points

1. Tbhp does not endorse D U I O A - Driving Under Influence Of Alcohol. I agree. But we are having a pay and practise session with a group of friends at the MMSC track - Thats it. So you could get me my crate of beer!

2. I missed your post in that thread. Now its not that an esteem lost to a gypsy or whether Nitrous lost to me. Firstly, there was no timed race nor was there any lap times to "officially" claim this.

As i had mentioned before, a group of friends, who got introduced by this forum met up and went to the pay and practise session at the MMSC.

We both got an opportunity to test against one another and understand the weakpoints of our respective cars. Why make a cry over that?

And IMO, Nitrous is the biggest sport in the true sense!

OT: Pls change your signature

IIRC, your post mentioned having beer between sessions - not a good idea. We could have the drinks post track, as usual. Anyway, I dont see a track day happening this week, so all this talk is pointless.

The SMS I got mentioned that the Gypsy beat the Esteem on track. Hmm.

He surely is - no doubt about that. And not just in this case, but generally also.

I am sure nitrous would take it sportively. If not, I surely will remove it. Or if you think it denigrates the Gypsy, I will remove the Gypsy part.

Offroad yes, the Gypsy is king. But onroad is a different story altogether and I am sure it is not even worth debating.
