Responses pouring in, keep it coming, all.

Tally so far is, 7 for the entire drive, 7 more for different sections.

Ideas for meet venues, and participants? We already have intents for holding meets at Bombay, Baroda, Delhi, Calcutta and Madras.

Where is the Pune team? Looks like we are going to see maximum participation in the Bangalore-Bombay sector, we need a grand reception en route.

Thanks for the PM HVK, I would love to do Chennai - Bangalore or Bangalore - Bombay but looks like there would be enough and more participation on that stretch so may be I will tentatively do the Vizag / Vijayawada - Chennai stretch.

You can start and reach vizag before the other team comes there and join them back to Chennai.

Try to pull in other guys to.

Current Status:
7 for full drive
5 - Bangalore-Bombay
1 - Pune-Bombay
1 - Madras-Bangalore

1 - Vizag/VWada-Madras

Calling the Hyderabadis and Keralites - since GQ is not on your path, where do you plan to join the fun - at Vijaywada/Vizag/Madras/Bangalore/Pune (for Hyderabadis) or Bangalore/Madras for Keralites?

Kumar, what is the plan? Not route but vehicle plan. The guys in for the full drive - each in his own vehicle? Or car pool concept?

Anything goes, hrag. Bring your own car, pool with others, as may be suitable. Costs have to be managed, it is 6k + trip with 12 days of overnight stays, food, etc. We have no budget yet, but maybe costs may be in the range of 25-30 k per head, assuming no pooling.

JAIPUR - OFFER
Guys if you plan to stop in Jaipur overnight instead of Delhi I can arrange accomodation for you in my Guesthouse. And since its mine, stay will be obviously complimentry for my fellow TBHpians. Just a suggestion so that the budget gets easier to the pocket.

Just let me know in advance the dates and the number of rooms to be booked if you wanna take on the offer.

Member truck is also in for the full GQ. He drives a Safari 3.0 DiCOR LX 4x2 - will mostly pool in with me in my truck.
