I missed the Midway meet, so wouldn't mind that option.
Kolaghat bridge is in bad shape, so those with low cars would not like that much. Else, no issues.
Kolaghat or Midway for me.

Kolaghat bridge is in shambles with huge traffic pile up and plus the big sized craters on the bridge itself.


Hotel Midway (Sonar Bangla) - Dhulagari, NH6 -- it will be for me.

For good dhaba food like shere-e-punjab, kolghat, there is also Azad Hind Dhaba near Uluberia, difficult to see from highway but just beside it, at the side of a BP petrol pump. Would have recommended it but then it is a dry dhaba.

As such best is hotel midway, just before the toll gate.


Yes Sanjha Chulha will be the choice if we do keep it in city and dont want to go up the Kona expressway to Dhulagiri.

Either one is quite okay for me.

IMO the best option will be Motel Midway, Dhulagari, NH6 - good food + ample parking.

but if you guys feel lazy - we can go to Sanjha Chulha.

you guys can plan to go to Prithika Restaurant in Durgapur. The food is quite good and the 2 to 2 and half hour drive will be nice too... vrooooooom should be knowing this place.

option A or B for me though i'll go for option D ( Hotel Midway ). Sanjha Chulha is too close. would prefer a drive to top off things.
