I know rahul, it was bad. Tried every possible thing to stop the car. Downshifting, literally stood on the brakes but in vain. The speed was a lil too much and by the time I noticed the 'peed breaker' it was too late.

The tire size is wrong. Wasnt aware till the time I joined TBHP.
The only option I have is to upsize to 15' alloys and tires. Thats gonna take some time buddy.

Talking about this, is there any other way that I can increase the height of my car.

Btw rahul, my name is Ankith. Nikhil was my friend.

Literally standing of the brakes does only one thing. LOCK UP! Modulate the brakes to get best efficiency.

Whats the size you are running?

I really don't know how even a wrong tire size can make your GC drop so much? It looks like you are on a lowered suspension. If I were you, I would get the suspension checked asap.

@iceman, @mclaren: Thanks for the keen observations. I know this topic is going OT. I have posted the replies on the swift queries section. Will need information on this problem.

Great report of the meet guys, i would like to join you all if there is a meet in Bangy when i am there. I am staying in Kerala now for almost a year and really missing Bangy. I keep dropping in atleast once every 1-2 months. And i drive all the way to and from Bangy alone in my SWIFT VDI (Its not that fun, take my words). But still do it just cos i love driving my CAR . Well i am planning to come down to Bangy by december last week. If there is a meet then, i ll surely try and get in. Hope to see you all soon.

Anyway, this was a real good location and real good meet. Really missing it.

Cheers

This was our first T-BHP meet and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We are eagerly looking forward to the next one.
A big thanks to all those involved in the planning and organization.

PM iceman91

Check with Hari (LukeSkywalker) and ask him for the route from Chikkaballapur - Gauribidanur Road if all you want to do is see the dam.
