Okey. In that case I'll be directly joining you guys @ A2B. I stay at whitefield and will be easier for me to directly catch the Highway via Sarjapur road. This road meets the highway about 10-15kms before Hosur(at Atibelle - where the construction of flyover is in progress). By what time are you guys reaching A2B? I'll plan and start accordingly.

Great drive you guys have planned and I am really tempted to come, but since I am in Chennai the distance is much more - around 220kms one way. So if it's a one day trip it would become quite tiring. I was tempted to ride to Yelagiri again on my Avenger 200, along with my friend on his Pulsar 220, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it due to the above fact. I had earlier ridden to Yelagiri on my Avenger 200 with my wife while my parents and 2 sisters (1 from US and 1 from Bombay) came in our Santro XO Ltd Edition 2007 car. It was great fun. Reached there by Sat afternoon around 2pm and left on Sunday around the same time. Touched 100 kmph on my Avy 200 and did a constant 85-90 kmph for quite some distance. Enjoyable cruise on my cruiser !!

Have fun and have a safe drive all of you. Post lots of pics and videos on the forum for us to see !! Jassi, I see that you're going for the meet and would have loved to catch up with you and discuss more Panasonic plasma stuff, but guess we're not destined to meet this time. Catch you on the next ride guys !!

Bangalore guys - if you plan a ride to Vellore which is about half way from Bangalore as well as Chennai, we Chennai guys can also make it. It would be fun. Think about it and let us work out something on those lines !!

3. We leave from A2B and the next meeting point will be Krishnagiri Toll Gate. Once you cross the toll gate, go over the first two fly overs, at the 3rd flyover hit the service lane (dont go over the flyover) and join the Bangalore-Chennai GQ. If you go straight you will go to Coimbatore. So kindly keep a note of this.

4. The final meeting point will be the first toll gate after taking the left turn at the Krishnagiri toll gate. I request all members to slow down after paying the toll onto the side and form a convoy.

5. From here we will have a lead car and a sweeper car to make sure no one gets lost. I request all members to adhere to this and not zoom off as and when they wish to. You are free to drive the way you want upto the final toll gate. But after that please maintain discipline.

I think in the above itinerary point 3,we should go over the first fly-over (after the Krishnagiri Toll plaza) and avoid going over the second fly-over.

Also, can someone give an approx. location of A2B or the distance from Dakshin Honda? This will help me in not missing this point. (I have travelled in this road quite a few times and do not remember seeing A2B anywhere)

Very difficult to answer this as most of the times people don't show up on time. I have also been late a couple of times. :-)

If everything goes as per schedule then assume a maximum of about an hour from Dakshin Honda to A2B.

It should be around 60-65KMs from Dakshin.

Btw, no way you will miss this one. Infact, If I am right, before 3KMs and 1km after that, they have a sign board mentioning this. And its inside the DP petrol bunk. So, no way to miss. Just keep an eye to your left once you cross 60KM on odo from Dakshin honda.
