This could perhaps be the last drive in this calendar year. So lets make it big.
Yelagiri, is a nice place. Awesome roads to drive, a nice ghat section, pretty decent place to find food, chill out and get to know other BHPians and their rides.
This trip has been done before, twice actually. And I am sure most members including those from Chennai would love to join in as well. So lets roll out the numbers.

I shall talk to Hotel Landmark guys, see if a buffet lunch can be organized. And handle the drinks part of it too.
Putting up a poll to decide whether to do this on a Saturday/Sunday. Majority day will be chosen.
Rahul, could you please please please also check that there is no political function being held there on that weekend? :p
agree: traffic jams on ghat sections aren't exactly fun :D

Hey rahul. Nice to see another TBHP meet coming up soon. Btw where exactly is this place. If you could tell me this and the approximate distance considering I stay near BEL circle.
Saw the pics. Looks like a nice place. How about the roads??

Count me in. I am a Newbie here in T -BHP and would like to take part in my first T - BHP meet. I am in for Saturday as we will get Sunday to realx.
I will bring along my M 800. I have been to Elagiri many a times. Its a Great place.
ON food, one idea I can share is that if there any Biriyani lovers, we can pack Biryani from Ambur or Vaniyambadi. Great Stuff.

Roads are probably the best in this side of the country for some high speed driving.
The place is around 160kms one way from here. Itinerary shall be put up closer to dates we freeze on.
Rahul since you are organizing it, one small request. Plenty of chilled beer please. :-). Of course we shall pay for it. And guys the drive down was not so bad. We had most fun there, remember. I voted for sunday as it my day off.

If I remember right most of the fun was had waiting on the hill side for traffic to clear! That is something I've never ever experienced before or since.
Sorry guys, will be at Coimbatore officially. Will try to join from there if there is a possibility that i return to bangalore that weekend. I'll confirm later.
