We will soon need a list of rides from various locations - will do that AFTER we have a finalized list.

Guess we will have to meet up again at Sarovaram on the byepass, probably (I say this for good reason) at 8 AM. Veelu and the Trichur boys can join us there.

I had a look at the wikimap. The Nehru Trophy finishing point is near to the Alapuzha KSRTC bus stand. If you know the KSRTC bus stand, the road to the Nehru Trophy finishing point is at the opposite side of the canal from the Bus stand.

So did I - the coffee at Kashi is worth the drive. We can also avoid the bombed-out

You may have to post a map to Kashi, though. And someone will have to wait up for Veelu on the mainland to guide him across - I will be happy to do that.

This saves us the drive to Aroor on bombed byepass - from Fort Cochin we go straight to Aroor via Edacochin.

I dont mind as long a there is a drive involved. And since i only have swift and not an off roader, i would always prefer the better roads. But its always fun to push to the limits sometimes.

Hey steer, i will be coming to COK via Guruvayur-Kodungaloor-Paravoor (I hope thats the right place)-EKM. I have done that route earlier and join the NH47 somewere near (Popular or Indus MASS on the high way, dont remember exactly). If you could guide me by name of location of the meeting point, i can make it up. However if veelu is with me, it would be easier to reach the place.

If you are taking NH17, please dont go back to NH 47. Turn RIGHT at Paravur (at the junction with a large petrol station in front of you) - this is the turnoff to Cherai. Once you reach Cherai you will be at a T Junction, take left here and keep going down this road till you reach Vypin. Dont take left to the Goshree Bridge at Vypin, continue straight past this till you reach the Boat Jetty - you will find the Junkar station here, get your car on the Junkar and cross over the sea to Fort Cochin and BINGO you're bang in front of Kashi!

Now the 'starting point' for the Boat Cruise is a place called 'finishing point' ?? Cause the snake boat race is a 'dash' and not a 'Lap' it's important that we don't ask for 'starting point' while trying to reach there.
