Delhi! How about a quick meet @ BUZZ this Friday? (21 Nov 2008)

Guys!
I love this place. Beautiful, wide roads. Lush greenery all around. Amazing climate. Historic buildings. Banged up vehicles. Confused cops. Hot chicks. Great vocabulary. I can go on with the good things and chalo... Let's forget the bad parts for now. LoL!
Delhi! It's nice to be back here.

As I'm here till Saturday, I thought why not meet up with all my Bhpian friends once again? Delhi meets are fun. It's all about taking each other's case, enjoying it and being a sport. I always liked it.
So I would be very happy to meet you all, once again.

I know, you guys have a big one coming up next weekend. So, I don't want to be a spoil sport to that.
This should be a very quick one, just a chillout type in some daaru adda, start early by 7ish and finish off early kind.

It has to be on the above mentioned date, Friday the 21st.
Let's keep it somewhere close to Al kausar (I'd like to go for a dinner there after the meet) like GKII or so.

Please post here if you're interested in coming. Please don't post here if you don't want to come. It will keep things simple and easy.

Delhi! What say? Shall we meet up?

Nice tribute to our "vandarful Horlicks city" Zak, thanks. I'm in for the daaru, not sure if I'll stay for dinner. Idea is to meet up with you & lighten the mood!

Avoid Khan Marklet if they have one-on-ones for Beer alone - winter is here

Ditto for me. Meet early, say 6ish, water the gills, ogle till the eyes fall off and then go home by 8:30-9 quietly with tail between the legs to have dinner with family.

Read my another post here titled Delhi/NCR meet up. That place could also be explored..

Some details here would be great.
If it's fine with others, then let's decide upon this option itself.

Its a place called Mandarin Court in Katwaria Sarai (near the Qutab hotel). It would tie in nicely with your plans of going to Al Kausar for dinner. And would be a shorter ride back home for the Senior Citizens.

I'm OK with this plan since its only liquor & snacks that we'll consume - hardly likely to go wrong with those! And will give us an opportunity to explore price options for future meets.

Gurji, have you tried Mandarin Court before? If yes, is it good enough? If you think so, we can go there (also what does a peg of Blender's/Bacardi/Smirnoff cost?) otherwise GK-II zindabad!

Otherwise, it doesn't go anywhere but remains up chasing PYTs.

I haven't been there personally but a two friends of mine were there a few days back and mentioned this to me. We can try it out. Isn't TBHP famous for going where no man has ever gone before?

BTW, where's the rest of Delhi?

Arrey baba, no happy hour simply means no discounts on liquor!

They do have a 40% discount on IMFL and a one-for-one (50%) on the wines. Question is - what is the rate for a 60 ml peg of Bacardi/BP/Smirnoff etc?

Hey i am in too!
How about Drums Of Heaven near Upahaar Cinema?
I dont remember the happy hours timing but i do know for sure there was 1+1 and happy hours!

I have seen Mandarin Court but not too keen on it because of the location and i guess parking too would be a problem.
