Actually if everyone reaches there by 12:30 and starts off immediately, then 2 and half hours is not too bad. Since we are not really having a drive-drive sort of meet but more of a eat-greet kind of meet, lets try and keep the driving to a minimum and concentrate more on the meeting part. Interested parties can continue on at a different location but i would think that after 2 hours of eating and drinking on a sunday afternoon i would prefer to head home for a nice snooze .

Moreover i would be more inclined towards a place which would offer more creature comforts like an A/C, Sofa,Table, Linen, Silverware, Poles etc (the weather seems to grow hotter as the winter approaches).

Any info on Dhabas which also provide A/C?

Dude, as discussed, we will take utmost care that you dont TAN

Btw, why dont you think of wearing your shorts and tbhp handle t-shirt for this meet? That ways, atleast it will be assured that you get sufficient cool breeze..hehehe

TAN? I'm halfway there already. Remind me to show you my TAN lines in the places the sun doesnt shine!

And if i'm not mistaken, a LUNGI offers better ventilation than shorts! I'm sure the members of www.TEAM-IWEARALUNGI.com will agree with me on this!

But any place will do as long as i'm not sweating it out in the heat while having lunch/drinks.

You want to show me your tan lines? Is that an overture?

How on earth did you discover the Lungi website. Is it a real website? I can't check from work.

And, i agree Lungi provides more ventilation than shorts. So can i expect you for the meet in a checkered lungi and contrasting dark shirt? Hehehe!

Man, you and rajesh are a riot. I have no doubts that you both will come out tops if SAY decides to start a WIT CONTEST

@Nick, Some questions for you!

a) Is DRIVE-IN dhaba cool in the afternoon? You know trees and all.

I know you, me, Suren181, Furioussphinx, Rider60 were there a year or so back. But, i kind of forgot how it is inside?

b) Do they get the booze from outside if we pay them the money for it? you know, typical dhaba style?

Let me know, else we need to choose another one on that stretch, i know another which is quite good, been there a few months ago.

Btw, your the official host of this meet

A) Its got a lotta trees, hence there is lotta shade on the top. Its better to sit out since lotts cool breeze in that area.
b) Yes, they get the booze from outside which is hardly a 5 min walk. So no extra cost xpect a tip for the man getting it.

They are a lotta new Dhaba's on the way i guess, have been to few but the food is the main cause i come for in Drive in Dhaba.

Offical Host

Thanks Nick. Are you going to "Blaze Red" or " Alto Pulto" for the meet? So DRIVE-IN dhaba it is then.

If you have some strings that you can pull, it would be awesome if you let these guys know in advance of our invasion on their dhaba

@CtrAltDel, cool to see you in too. Couldnt control the urge to jump in..huh?

er....if Nick is the official host, as opposed to the official organiser, does that mean that he picks up the tab as well
