Wild in Wayanad D R I V E

Friends, an update:

I had planned to come in my Gypsy for the Waynad drive. Now after a 1000+ km drive in the Gypsy it needs some immediate work to be ready for long drives and also a thorough checkup after an OTR.

I am sure at this point that the Gypsy will not be coming to Waynad and I will be traveling along with Prabhuav for this D R I V E.

Maybe we should also add the type of accommodation + food preferences.

I am coming with wifey, so would need Family type accommodation.

Both me & wifey are PURE vegetarians so would need veg food (simple dal + chappati, dosa, idli, etc would do)

An update on the accommodation. On a three-sharing basis, stay would cost Rs.650/person. This includes breakfast on the 8th (Sunday) + 1 more meal (dinner/lunch).

Yes, they do have a no pets policy. Damn! Was hoping for a petogether of sorts!

Please indicate the type of accommodation you would need, ie, single/family/shared at the earliest.

Folks, the weather is going to be great.. so pack your bags, turn on that motor and set course for Wild in Wayanad !!

Since its a no dog policy at the hotel I shall drop him(the dog) off at the relatives. My coming for the DRIVE is confirmed if there is no death in the family. Even if no one from TEAMBHP comes I will be making the trip with family to Wayanad. Will get the GTX along because I fear the Junkindica may not pull up the hills of Wayanad.

As far as accomodation is concerned we are 4 of us and a family accomodation is a prerequisite.

I will join you all from Thrissur or Calicut.

Guys, I am going to start from Coimbatore, can either drive up to Palakkad/Thrissur or take the shortest route from Cbe. I am not too sure about the routes, have to check with veterans like Harrie, who use this road often.

I am open to both routes, even if I am taking a longer path.

CBE-Shoranur is quite a short drive. You could join me at home and we can go together from there. Leave your car at home, if necessary.
